Cheers for the comments all; they were taken on an tripod, always gives the best results I posted the same set on UKAR with over 900 views and one comment - I did not think they were that bad so thank you for the reassurance!

  10. Got my copy a few weeks ago. I was really pleased to be able to contribute to the magazine with the F-4J (UK)
  11. Hopkp it can be purchased from here or should be in the shops this week https://shop.keypublishing.com/product/View/productCode/SPECF4
  12. 1/32 Spitfire PR XI

Loving this one - something unusual and perfectly weathered
  13. Hi The green tint was Tamiya Clear Green mixed with Klear and then sprayed on - 50-50 mix.
  14. Thank you all for such kind comments (I know some of you have said it is the best on this page - I would disagree as there are some stunning modellers who post on here!) There are some minor changes on the UK variant compared to the US version, mainly in the moveable slats (not produced on the kit anyway) and a few lumps and bumps underneath. The UK variant also had the catapult launcher removed before being handed to the RAF. as for other photos - I will try but I am pretty busy with my day job at the moment so will try and do something soon. Thank you again James
  15. All I am pleased to finally be able to share my latest build, featured in the new AMW Phantom Booklet released this week. The model itself is based on the Tamiya 1/32 scale F-4J, but converted to the UK F-4J UK Variant. The kit used a number of aftermarket parts including Aires Exhaust/Burner Cans, Cockpit, Quickboost Seats, Eduard Brassin Wheels, Wolfpack SUU-23 Cannon, DMold Intakes, and Yellowhammer Decals. The kit itself took around 3 months to build with the vast majority of the works taking place inside before being sealed up. The final colour took a while to get right as well with a zinc chromate primer being used under the correct "flint grey". I hope you like it. 1/32 Scale Tamiya F-4J (UK) Phantom by JamesV9820, on Flickr 1/32 Scale Tamiya F-4J (UK) Phantom by JamesV9820, on Flickr 1/32 Scale Tamiya F-4J (UK) Phantom by JamesV9820, on Flickr 1/32 Scale Tamiya F-4J (UK) Phantom by JamesV9820, on Flickr 1/32 Scale Tamiya F-4J (UK) Phantom by JamesV9820, on Flickr
