  1. That looks amazing. Thanks for sharing your build and stay safe.
  2. So how do they work? I hear a bunch of the Leopard 2Rs that Ukraine had been using to clear mines had been destroyed. I'm assuming it this huge shovel digs in the ground and pushes them out of the ground, and at times the mines would detonate - when that happens does that render the tank and/or shovel inoperable? Or is it that the mine was more powerful than thought?
  3. Hello everyone, Does anyone know if any of the Eurofighter nations used the 2-seat trainers for operational/combat duty? My understanding is that other than that extra cockpit/smaller internal fuel tank, they're one and all the same. I haven't had much luck with Google on this. Thanks!
  4. Thanks Rob! I will look into this. I wonder why clear resin takes so long to cure? Or is it just that specific type that you used?
  5. Hi everyone, I've heard about using clear resin to fill the windows of a civil airliner fuselage, then sanding it smooth for a flush appearance. As far as I can tell, this is what I need to do: 1. rough up the interior so the clear resin has some grip. 2. paint the inside of the fuselage and window frames. 3. stick a piece of tape over the window and cut out the shape of the window, giving the resin a bit to stick out so it can be sanded flush later. 4. stick a piece of tape larger than the window on the sticky side of a larger piece of tape, then stick this on the fuselage (effectively forming a barrier to keep the resin from flowing out, and a clear surface for it to form). 5. pour clear resin into the inside of the fuselage 6. let cure 7. remove tape and sand smooth. Would someone confirm the steps? Also I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for said clear resin. I'm building a 1/72 airliner, it doesn't look like the Micro Krystal Clear route is going to work for me. Thanks in advance!
  6. Hi everybody, By any chance would anyone know if decals were made for either aircraft flown by Frank E Petersen during his time with VMFA-212 during the Korean War, or VMFA-314 during Vietnam? Either 1/72 or 1/48 would work. Thanks!
  7. I'll have to remember to wear my glasses. I thought the title was "gentlemans sausage from a fascist fledgling." It's looking brilliant, by the way. The model, I mean. Not your gentleman's sausage.
  8. An injection molded Scottish Aviation Pioneer in 1/72. I can't afford the Magma/Combat kit and I'm not keen on building a resin version of it.
  9. Ahhhh FEAR. Still one of the scariest games I've ever played. That is a great build!
  10. My understanding is that businesses are trying to keep going, to help prop up the economy when possible.
  11. So does that mean J-066 didn't get the plates until the new scheme in 2006?
  12. Hi everyone, I'm trying to build the F-16 RNlAF J-066 "Orange Jumper" from the 1999-2005 scheme (with the large kangaroo). On the side note of the sheet regarding the stiffener plates: Does this mean I only use A, D, E, F, K & L? I'm confused.
  13. Luigi, This is awesome! I'm doing Bort 44. Those red R-27s are fantastic. I wonder what's the story behind that?
  14. Hello everyone, I'm working on MiG-29 Bort 44 from the 773 IAP back when it was based in Damgarten (that two-tone green scheme) and I've had good luck on the tops and sides, but I can't find anything for the bottom? Does anyone have references to that? Thank you!
  15. I haven't built an F-16 in a while. Count me in please!
  16. I'm surprised they still haven't kitted a 1/72 AMX. I'll still wait. Hey, maybe it's that Top Secret kit!
  17. I talked to a guy who covered the Aussie purchase of the Tiger as a defense analyst and he said that Tiger never really worked out. I understand the majority of the bugs have been ironed out as of October of last year, but perhaps it was too late and the MoD had lost its patience with the platform.
  18. Hi everybody, Does anyone have the dimensions for the Pave Tack pod? I'd like to attempt scracthbuilding one in 1/72.
  19. Oh, it's brilliant! Nicely done! Do you have a WIP for this?
  20. Wait, what? Aren't the Sentinels fairly new aircraft?
  21. Do the other boxings have the RAM panel tape? Mine does not (it's the original boxing).
