Bat Two ONe

Hi everybody may name is Mark, I've not made a model for about 18 years and this great website .has wet my appetite to build a masterpiece just like some of the guys on here, I really love Spences kits and I read his mags every month Here's my first kit, I know I have a bit of work to do to make it like theirs but rome wasn't built in a day I started with the pilot as theres not much cockpit A bit of black hides the cockpit a bit. I added some seats out of tape. they did stick eventually LOL Its an old model so i new itd need some filler. Squadron green is the stuff for me cos it smells great Gave me pilot a flesh coloured face by mixing some red with white. Dabbed it on with a cocktail stick bcos its a bit small but i dropped it on the mat into some black paint which looked good cos it looked like goggles! While I was waiting for the putty to dry I glued on the cockpit canopy with some liquidpoly I had left over. I've sprayed the wheels black from a can I'm saving up for an airbrush but im not sure which one to buy. Im going to nick a sanding thing from my wifes nail box & sand down this putty once its dry. How long does it take?
