If you're looking for their acrylics in the UK then they *are* Hannants Xtracrylics - available from Hannants direct or many other LMS, SBX are very good for them IMHO. Their enamels are only available under their own brand. Regards Aaron www.paint4models.com

I always use Vallejo's Airbrush Cleaner 099 or 199 in large. Seems to work better (for me) than their thinners. HTH Aaron

You can get Alcad II from multiple sources, made near Norwich:- Hannats, SBXModelShop amongst others. Ripmax are listed as distributors for Testors Paints in the U.K but nothing found on their site. There is also the Gunze Sangyo Metalizers available from Model Design Construction. Alclad is great, lovely smell

Having the Badger 150, a couple of 'who-flung-dungs' and an Eclipse, (had the) Revell Vario (gave it away), I'd say the Eclipse is best by a country mile! Never gets clogged, easily cleaned, much more easily 'tuned', well worth the extra IMHO. If you're thinking about an Eclipse I can recommend [email protected] - excellent service and very knowledgeable about the subject. And yes, you'll need an adapter for the hose - visit your local air compressor/pump specialist and get one for pennies! Aaron

Have just experienced their Red Arrows Red through an Eclipse Airbrush and found that if thinned at all with water or Vallejo thinners its too runny at just 12psi. Subsequent coats sprayed neat went on fine at 12psi - maybe it's this particular jar but I reckon I'll go back to the Vallejo Model Color, or Life Color which also seems to go on better (for me anyway).
