  1. Or the more recent LRDG Ford F30: https://www.lzmodels.com/Thunder-Model-kits.html Nick
  2. It seems to me they did the one-off kit without any scale in mind at the planning stage which is unfortunate - 1/32 would have provided even more space.
  3. Another exquisite model; just stunningly beautiful. Nick
  4. I’ve ordered directly in the past with no problem. However, the current situation may well have made this nigh on impossible to order directly or indirectly at present. Nick
  5. Another little update: Airfix will be attending with a stand. There will be no sales though allowing traders to do their thing. They'll be bringing along a preview of the new 1/48 Sea King model - its first outing to a show since it was announced. I’m looking forward to seeing that! Nick-joint-show-manager
  6. The flying surfaces seem to be fabric rather than metal. That kit was responsible for me ‘specialising’ in 1/48 - the panel lines were astonishing at the time and hold up really well today. I was in my early teens at the time and not knowledgable enough to recognise the inaccuracies then. Nick
  7. Ah - that explains everything, chaps, thanks for your replies and help. Nick
  8. I’m going to need some more Alclad II Aqua Gloss (ALC-600) shortly but I’m having trouble finding any. Does anybody know of a supplier, please? Nick
  9. Brilliant - absolutely top notch! Nick
  10. Likewise, really looking forward to this! Nick
  11. And here’s a ready-built collection: https://www.motorsportauctions.com/category/68/historic-rally-cars/listings/24089/full-collection-works-escorts-plus-memorabilia-for-sale-inc-3-x-roger-clark-winning-works-cars.html Nick
  12. Hmm, trouble is that a lot of that shown is already available from other companies (yeah, I know that Tamiya’s 1/48 jerry cans don’t make money for MiniArt 😇). I too would have preferred something along the lines of the Bantam and other softskins as well some of the crew sets. Nick
  13. I have to agree - that’s a very convincing model. Stunning. Nick
  14. If you’re referring to all the pics in your linked thread, they are all loading for me instantly. Nick

    RIP Ken Block

Was just about to post this myself. Not surprised either; but a real entertainer. RIP Ken. Nick
  16. During 2023, I aim to finish my: 1/24 MFH/Profil24 kit-bash of the Ford P68/F3L 1/24 Le Mans Miniatures Mirage M1 1/24 Tamiya Ford Sierra XR4i 1/24 Fujimi Lotus Esprit I also intend to start a new scratchbuild project on the first of January (gulp!). Nick
  17. Keriste - that looks like the real thing - unbelievable! Nick
  18. Very sad. I saw Dr Feelgood only once in the early 70s. We managed to persuade our art master to take a bit of a detour to the pub they were playing at, after our visit to a couple of museums in London. Nick
