  1. I think the box reads OVER Spain... "Ober Spain" has no meaning in any language, to my limited knowledge at least. Jorge.
  2. Here's a picture of the strap used to held the slat in the up position. It is seen from below on a restored argentine A-4B. Net picture. Jorge.
  3. Forgot to mention. There were both slick and parachute-retarded EXPAL 250 kg. bombs used. The one shown in Selwyn's link has the thicker tail which contained a parachute. Jorge.
  4. Hi Birchy, Daggers were split between two Squadrons during the war. The ones at San Julián used 1300 liter fuel tanks (two or three, depending on mission configuration) and the ones at Río Grande used 1700 liter ferrry fuel tanks. A couple of missions were flown initially from San Julián with Shafrirs on the outer wing stations, but that was rare. Only two types of bomb were used by the Argentine Air Force during the conflict. 1. british 1.000 pound bombs 2. spanish EXPAL 250 kilogram bombs The spanish 250 kg bombs are similar in shape to the american Mk.82s but are heavier (550 pounds nominal weight) and have a cylindrical center section while the Mk.82s have a constant curvature from front tip to rear end. Also, their colour was grey, not green as on their american counterparts. I do not have the kit but IIRC, neither of the two bombs used by Argentina during the conflict is included. Hope this is of help to get a clearer picture of things. Best regards, Jorge.
  5. Many thanks for all the replies gentlemen! Interesting how many new things you learn just by asking a simple question. Best regards, Jorge.
  6. Do the Modelsvit guys have an e-mail or some way to contact them? Jorge.
  7. A friend of mine would like to purchase this Mosquito set: http://www.scaleplasticandrail.com/kaboom/index.php/all-things-aviation/172-176-scale/aftermarket-items/439-172-dh-mosquito-pr-ib-iv-series-i-merlin-21-short-nacelle-conversion-set Any help would be most appreciated! Jorge.
  8. That could really be the news of the decade! Thanks for posting! EDIT: all I hope for is that the kit is simple but accurately shaped in EVERY RESPECT! And I also hope the windshield comes molded like this: Jorge.
  9. It would be nice if someone could post a list of just the "new tools" for 2016 here. Thanks! Jorge. PS: HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
  10. "Bandwith for the month exceeded" Never happened to me before, my apologies! Hope they will be visible again soon. In the meantime, I have started construction. I uploaded pictures using another photo uploading account: http://z15.invisionfree.com/72nd_Aircraft/index.php?showtopic=7486&st=0#entry22282946 Jorge.
  11. My kit has arrived! Here's an inbox review I wrote: http://z15.invisionfree.com/72nd_Aircraft/index.php?showtopic=7460&st=0#entry22282102 Hope you find it useful, Jorge.
  12. Terrific pictures! Many thanks! Are those your shots? Any more details about what we are seeing? Best regards, Jorge.
  13. Pictures of the other parts gentlemen! I don't see the wing fences, so maybe they are present in the sprue where the lower wing part is molded? In any case, I like very much what I see. Hope you do too. Cheers to all, Jorge.
  14. Revell has a new tool F-101B of their own! Check this link: http://models.primeportal.net/?p=2387 It has been reissued recently and is a very nice kit. HTH, Jorge.
