  1. Sorry, should have mentioned this in my opening post. I prefer 1/48 for single engine fighters and 1/72 for multi engined aircraft although I have several built up 1/72 Airfix and Revell fighters in my collection. I normally stick with WW2 era and early jets.
  2. Hello Laerte. I build aircraft and some armor but haven't built many ships over the years. The last one was the Revell Titanic that I built for a friends wife.
  3. I followed your WIP thread for these and they are just beautiful to my eye.
  4. Oooh, that's a big un. Nice work and the canopy is first rate.
  5. It is a beautiful and happy town with plenty of job opportunities if one ignores the gang violence that goes on in certain areas. Just don't venture into those areas.
  6. Yes, I am American by birth and live in Jacksonville Florida but like yourself have great admiration for all things British and am a huge fan of Douglas Bader.
  7. Hello everyone. I created an account long ago but have never posted anything before today. The shenanigans going on here have kept me so entertained that I have been content to just lurk until now. I love Airfix kits and most other things British and have been modeling since the age of five.(I'm 59 now) As you can see, my grammar and writing skills are a bit unrefined but after all I am a product of the southern US. Will post a pic of myself when I can get to it.
  8. I am new to posting here although I created an account long ago. I have been following your posts for quite some time and can't help but to wonder why you haven't considered the name Douglas.
