A bit more detail painting done and then the decals were applied. These are from Xtradecal 72148.

I painted the track links with Panzer Aces track primer. The turret was the built up. The trurret and upper hull components were primed with grey plastic car primer from a rattle can, then sprayed with Vallejo 71.056 Dunkelgrau. Main assembly complete. The grey is a little too dark for my liking but there is plenty of time to rectify that.

And we're finished!

That concerns me as well. A neighbour had a six year old diesel in great condition with low mileage. A passing car took the driver's door mirror off. The insurance company wrote it off. If something like that happens to mine, I doubt I would get more that two hundred quid for it.

Well, I've just started my policy with my new insurer. All the bells and whistles of my old policy (protected No Claims Bonus, legal protection, uninsured driver cover, windscreen cover, contents cover etc) at a little over a quarter of the cost of my old policy. I then phoned my current insurer to cancel my current policy. Lo and behold, they suddenly found that they could insure me for £5 a month less than the new insurer! 😮 I declined.

In which case I'll just do the same thing again and go with another company. You mentioned an important word: loyalty. Loyalty is very important to me. I have been with this company for over twenty years but it's clear that they have no loyalty to me, so I'm happy to give my loyalty to someone else.

What the actual.....? I got my car insurance renewal quote today. I drive a twenty year old VW Passat TDi in excellent condition. My monthly insurance payments were £42. They have now gone up to £94. So I phoned the insurance company to ask why. I won't tell you the name, but I'm sure you have heard of it. They have high profile ads on the telly. I haven't made an insurance claim in over 25 years. The company told me it's because the car is a diesel. Diesel cars no longer align with their corporate vision. I was confused. So I went to the relevant website. I got a decent quote with all the bells and whistles for £25 per month. I don't understand how a company can allow woke ideology to interfere with their business model.
