  1. Thank you for sharing your work. Looking forward to your next project.
  2. This is mine. No resin bay here. However, diehedral s far from perfect. It seems that Tamiya bears some responsibility.
  3. ... and that makes about £70 for the full meal. Hobby Boss Mig-31 sells for £45 (check Hannants).
  4. Accuracy wise, the Hobby Boss is far from perfect, but it is more accurate than the AMK. In addition, AMK panel lines are heavy. Hobby Boss panel lines are more subtle. Yes, Mig-31 is a heavy model and do needs metal legs. Hobby Boss is giving some very sturdy mix of metal and plastic undercarriage legs just out of the box. Same it is not true for what concerns AMK, for which metal legs are an expensive option. Go Hobby Boss.
  5. Hi, Any comment on the new tank from Trumpeter ?
  6. How much we can spend in our hobby is probably the most stricking evolution in our hobby. When you get both set in your hands, check carefully for the distance between the holes where to plug the undercarriage legs. Thank you for sharing this great adventure !
  7. The Aires wheel bay to be used with Tamiya kit is item no. 4219. Here: http://www.aeronautiko.com/product_info.php?products_id=34019 I would get both and check which fit better.
  8. Hi, In these days I am building a 1/48 Tamiya P-51D. Time has come to choose in which markings finishing this model. I am looking for an ETO natural metal Mustang with a bare front fuselage and spinner, something that seems common for the Mustang deployed in the Pacific but not in Europe. Can you help? Best,
  9. The title says it all. Linden Hill Decals has released again its beatiful 1:48 Arctic Flanker sheet, this time sized for the new Hobby Boss kit. Hobby Boss has released two 1:48 Flankers, early and late. Which of these two I have to pick for an accurate "Arctic" Flanker ? Best,
  10. Hi, Of the many versions already relesead by ICM of the Ju 88 in 1:48, which is the most accurate? If I remember well, the first version had issues like too long undercarriage legs and too basic nacelle engines. Best,
  11. I think there is something very wrong with this thread, and that is the idea we "need" weapons. It is not a "need", it is a choice. We can build perfectly accurate scale aircrafts without hanging under their wings any weapon. Kudos to Hasegawa.
  12. Now we have too quarter scale Su-34:
  13. Gabor, Tail sting aside, do you see any other major inaccuracy ?
  14. What about the North Star 1:48 Su-15 resin exhaust ? Does it correct the narrowness of the Trumpeter kit part ?
  15. Hi, What about the new 1:48 Bf 109 G-6 from Zvezda ?
  16. While ago a read a discussion about where to buy on-line this kit to save some money. A couple of on-line russian shop but I do not remember exactly which. Any help ? Cheers,
