  1. Take a look at this book, from page 214 Five down, no glory Btw (off topic) my basket team, Unicaja Málaga, has signed Livio Jean Charles, a forward. He comes from Austin Spurs, your linked team in G-League . Tomorrow is his debut
  2. Hi. It's a fine paintwork and a nice result. But as far as I know, the only Bleriot that was in the SCW was civil and then Republican, painted in green and sand, and did not survive the war, so that camouflage and markings are a what if. It looks great, of course. Congrats.
  3. Juan: thank you very much, my friend. Soon you will inspect my Buffalo in person Pinback: muchas gracias!! I'm glad you like it. pipthepilot: yes, the Buffalo is a lovely barrel. I should buy another one! Thanks! Meatbox8: I agree. All war pilots (and soldiers etc) deserve the utmost respect and our tribute to them is that their stories are remembered. Thank you very much and soon I will post another kit that I finished recently. Regards
  4. Hi, Jason. Your spanish is quite good Also, mi favourite aircrafts of WW2 are the soviets! I'll just tell you I have eight I-16 in 1/48th scale and one in 1/32 (new tool from ICM). One of them will be the "Mosca" type 5 of Frank Tinker, an American mercenary pilot who fought on the Republican side of the Spanish Civil War and whose story is fascinating (likely you know it) More things: my favorite team of the NBA is the Spurs, I am very fond of basketball. I hope you didn't change Spurs for Mavs or Rockets haha. Un cordial saludo JC
  5. Three great reasons to visit Wisconsin: aircrafts, beer & cheese. I love them all.
  6. Wow, nice mix!! Pleased to meet you, Jose Luis. If you live in Wisconsin I suppose you are near from Oshkosh Air Show, aren't you? A friend of mine was there and he told me the show is really g-r-e-a-t. Maybe one day.... Thanks for your welcome Regards
  7. Great! In fact I'm from Málaga but I live in Cadiz since 1996. Nice to meet you and thanks for your welcome
  8. Hi again! Sorry for the delay in answering ... very busy today. Glad to see that you liked the model, thank you very much indeed for your kind words. Likely, my next british aircraft will be a Boulton Paul Defiant, from Airfix, but first I should order all the aftermarkets I've purchased to improve it. Regards
  9. Nice Boomerang!! Fine paint work and realistic scratches. It's not an easy kit but you built a great model. Congrats.
  10. First of all, mates, thank you for your welcome in this forum and your kind words on the model. I'm very happy that you like it, even more since it is a forum with many lovers of British planes (as I am too). Also thanks to Alan (LDSModeller) for the clarifications about Noel Sharp, it is always interesting to expand data and correct the errors. As for the dragon only going on the port side ... is there a photo on the starboard side or a comment? Because I did not find any. In this book, as in others, I only saw the dragon on the port side: Indeed the Finns took very good advantage of the Buffalo but they took advantage of everything that could fly Juutilainen's Buffalo is a nice subject and the Dutch one...well it's a beautiful barrel. Like I said, guys, it's a pleasure to be here. Gracias, Miguel JC
  11. Jaja, desde luego que sí!! Otro saludo para tí
  12. Hi, Dennis. Thx for your welcome. Next summer I will go to the USA (NY) on holidays and I want yo visit the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum in Washington. Greetings
  13. Hi, Troffa. Thx for your welcome! My first kit was a Bf-109E from Heller. Unforgettable. Soon after came that wonderful Airfix kits. And Matchbox of course: I still have a lovely Handley Page Heyford in his box (recently re-released by Revell, I believe). Maybe you built FROG or Lindbergh as well. Nice times, when we built without concerns about color accuracy haha. Regards
  14. Hi, friend. I live in a small town in the south of Spain, near Gibraltar (about 15 kms). Near from the wonderful beaches of Tarifa as well. It's a sunny but high windy area, a lovely place if you are a surfer and rainy in winter/Spring. Also near os Granada with Sierra Nevada and its ski resorts. This winter cold reached -15° in some places of middle and northern Spain and snow almost everywhere. Nice to meet you.
