  1. Looks good to me. I've been there with dropping a still tacky model on the floor, not proud of my language thank goodness the kids weren't around but the neighbour was!. Take care and enjoy your build.
  2. Glad it finally arrived, now finish her.
  3. I do like th look of this, I think I need one for the very beginning of my Spitfire collection.
  4. I also thought it was at least 1/48th if not 1/32nd. Truly wonderful work on such a small aircraft.
  5. I'm in with a RNZAF machine, 2 Squaron TAF out of Rongotai. I've done the other three Squadrons so I need an excuse to finish the set.
  6. I do love the Canadian Voodoo, not sure if it is the shape, the colour or what but it just looks right.
  7. Lovely figures, each vignette tells a story.
  8. Looks fabulous, are you adding some figures and vehicles?
  9. Vallejo white putty is great for small cracks and sink marks. Find it in the Vallajo paint racks or in a bigger tube from Little Cars. I like Revell Plasto for bigger gaps as it is easy to sand. For really big gaps I used strips of plastic card with one of the above to finish.
  10. Excellent work. All your efforts were well worth it.
  11. Lovely work, I especially like the subtle enhancement of the panel lines. Not an easy kit to build. Barracuda resins by Roy Sutherland do some nice one piece nacelle fronts which really help.
  12. Magna do a resin Master in 1/48th scale. I did their Attacker and was very pleased with it. I can't speak for the Master.
  13. Excellent work on the faded paint and the general weathering. Another cracking model.
  14. Try this link, the pilot on the left is based in the Middle East and has a non regulation beard. His overalls are regulation, the pilot on the right is in a sidcot suit. http://uk.wrs.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0PDodcIZ4dO2...umb=a8gVI3Kxayl
  15. I suggest a Sidcot suit, a sort of thick beige all in one thing for winter or plain white overalls for summer for a pre war machine.
  16. The Tee shirt with Pierre Closterman would make me want it for a bargain price not pay more for it. I've just got mine from Relish and am glad it doesn't come with it. Now an Evan Mackie tee shirt is another matter altgether.
  17. I'll be watching, hey 15 years to where you are isn't that bad!!!
  18. Thanks guys for the recommendations. Shame the Ultracast chap is too big, wish they'd scale them down. Buzby061; I really like the Dartmoor stuff, my Puma further down this board has a Dartmoor crew as does my Firefly in Dioramas. Sadly there are no suitable figures in their range. Gasoline do an American pilot and female driver so I'm looking out for that at Telford.
  19. Hidden away in the 'US infantry at Rest' box is this little gem. I don't know if Tamiya didn't want to pay the licence but it looks like a Jeep to me. A nice relaxing build that will be incorporated into a diorama later, hence the lack of figure. I still think the Tamiya chaps are too thin and poorly defined facially so I'm looking for a suitable metal or resin person or persons. Thanks for looking
  20. hannants are showing this http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/MKD48013 looks like one of the options might be what you are looking for.
  21. I especially like the way you have captured the ribbing and canvas on the tail of the Rata. Hope the job situation improves.
