  1. You are missing the point here, these are different kits aimed at different markets. The Airfix one is a simplified kit where as that cant be said about the other two contenders.
  2. As Dave has said these are nicely tooled kits just with fewer parts for the less experienced builder though all can build them.
  3. I see its been announced that Hattons is to close after 77 years Recently they have been buying kit collections and selling them on as well as their normal railway business. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/whats-on/whats-on-news/hattons-model-railways-announces-closure-28411645 https://www.hattons.co.uk/closure?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=closingdownannouncement&fbclid=IwAR2UYSzP8MhVRMtLXfk_1SXMlUxM2GQ4Ha28IIKHkMjFiObKuEPcHm00ZD8 Sad to see them go. 4. As the Ipswich Club sec im not sure if we have had a formal invite, though like you said I know you are planning to attend.
  5. Unlike the USA our show is primarily there to showcase the models made by members on their club and SIG tables. There is a comp but as said only a small part of the membership participate. As a member who does not build for competitions I like the format as it is and the fact there is a competition. I will go for a look around but its not the reason I go. I will say though that while discussion of the hobby is welcome, in depth issues for IPMS and issues with individual officers ie the Comp Sec needs to be addressed with them or on IPMS Forums, BM Is not the place for this.
  6. When you ask for a windows seat you dont expect the window to open!! Apparently this panel gives the option for an Emergency Exit which Alaskan did not take, aircraft is New only in Service since November. Alaskan have now grounded the fleet https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-67899564
  7. Its only the ICM kit reboxed
  8. Sad to see Robert Taylor has passed away, he doid some great work

    Joe Baugher RIP

    I was reading on the web that Joe Baugher passed away from Cancer last month. A sad loss to the hobby and the wider aircraft community due to his dedicated research. Ive read his site will stay active. RIP Joe Julien
  14. You will need a photo host to upload pictures, a good thread is;
  15. I did mention to Airfix at Telford that if they did anymore UK stuff like the Ferret that some figures would sell

    B-777 mishap

    Anyone, and I mean anyone who thinks an airliner crash is good, no matter where it is does not belong here. Period. Also comparing one to WWII is not on either.
  17. You are not joking, not been for a few years now but it was brassic.
  18. Does the loss of the kit swap and no undertable sales devalue the Telford experience? not in my view. The swap used to take a lot of people doing a lot of work, and as a member you had to invest a good chunk of your day to get in, walkaround, pay and get out. I cant see any group investing for a table unless they think they can shift a lot of kits.
  19. Please read the rules on posting images from Airliners.net
  20. A great model but each of your images is way ot large they are 16mb each and too big, Please re-size them
  21. T.7 NF.11 NF.12 We have all of these in the walkaround section
