    As stated before, built an air fix wimpy back in the mid 60s, don’t ask my age now, but will tag along and get me a new one

    Have followed the site for years and finally decided to join. Have been building plastic airplane models for 61 years The Old Pelie screen name is in honor of my dad, Lt. Col Murray Weiss USAAF/USAF (ret). Flew the hump in WW2 ( C-46 ), and last active in 68-70 flying C-124's, six months TDY at Mildenhall. I build mostly from WW2 on to current jets, some with a decidedly British Flavor - lanc, hurricane, beaufighter, mossies, javalins, typhoonss, buccs and herfords. Currently working on a wnw Brisfit, and it is giving me fits. Anyway, thats my story, I look forward to following more builds and maybe one day posting one of my own.
