  1. Hello everyone, I wanted to show show you my last plane, it's a Sepecat Jaguar, painted in the green-gray camo. The kit itself its very old, and it only came with the RAF roundels, so I use spare decals to improve it, it's kinda a what if since the reg. numbers under the wings and the squadron are incorrect. But overall I like how it ended. It's my first plane since 2019. This 2020 was .... 2020, and It was my first year as a nurse also, so I had little free time IMG_20201004_053154 by basco.br1, en Flickr This is the box art: IMG_20210307_123656 by basco.br1, en Flickr The decals IMG_20210307_123733 by basco.br1, en Flickr The kit was painted with humbrol enamels and a brush IMG_20210317_145917 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20210317_160601 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20210321_173531 by basco.br1, en Flickr Gloss coat: IMG_20210319_184934 by basco.br1, en Flickr These are spare decals IMG_20210321_173509 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20210321_173504 by basco.br1, en Flickr The results: IMG_20210409_125112 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20210409_125048 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20210409_125039 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20210323_124627 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20210322_210312 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20210409_125134 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20210409_125236 by basco.br1, en Flickr I really hope you like it Greetings from Viña del Mar - Chile Bruno

  3. Here is my last work, it's a F-18A, an early version , from the Royal Australian Air Force. The kit is the old italeri mould, with raised panel lines. The whole plane is painted with humbrol, testors and model master enamels, all painted with handbrush. Here you can see the WIP thread Here is the final product: IMG_20191012_155228 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20191012_155236 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20191012_155211 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20191012_155304 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20191012_155338 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20191012_155313 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20191012_155249 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20191012_155348 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20191012_155408 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20191012_155348 by basco.br1, en Flickr Here is next to my cf-18 IMG_20191012_155540 by basco.br1, en Flickr I really hope you like my plane See you soon! 10. Hello everyone, this will be the second plane this year (the previous one was another f-18!), now I'm making an early F-18A from the Royal Australian Air force or RAAF. The plane itself it's the second nearest fighter in the photo, or the A21-9 (photo from the web, doesnt belong to me): 3b554d649ffbc2398868203b1f21555f by basco.br1, en Flickr This is the boxart: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48743713498_55d02fdf4d_h.jpg]IMG_20190915_135450 by basco.br1, en Flickrg][/url]IMG_20190915_135422 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190915_135504 by basco.br1, en Flickr This is the decals sheet, for 5 liveries! 2x Australians, 1x Canadian, 1x US Navy, 1x Spanish IMG_20190915_135518 by basco.br1, en Flickr I already started painting the landing gear bays white IMG_20190916_113527 by basco.br1, en Flickr Also I added 3 screens on the instrument panel IMG_20190916_113554 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190916_121501 by basco.br1, en Flickr Not perfect but i think it does the job, Now I need your help because I want to add a pilot, but not sure if they use white or gray helmet, or if they use a tan or olive green uniform, hope someone know that It's not too much but i will update this soon, I'm using this week because in Chile we are near the independence day, so I'm in a kinda vacations See ya! Bruno.-
Sigue con el buen trabajo __________________________________ Nice job on the A-4! Now with the ailerons, i dont see why the plane would be ruined. If you still have the same gray you used in the rest of the plane, i dont see any problem at all. Anyway its your plane and if you prefer keeping it like that there is no problem since is your plane, the important thing is that you like it. keep up with the good work
  12. RFI thread is here!!! IMG_20190317_115029 by basco.br1, en Flickr Thanks for following this building and for the support! Bruno.-
  13. Finally it's done! Here is my Cf-18A with tiger stripes from the Tigermeet 1991. Back to the kit, it was the Esci/Italeri mould, with raised panel lines, and not the perfect fit, but overall it represents quite well the hornet. The kit decals came with the stripes, but I prefer painting them. The whole plane is painted by hand with humbrol, model master and testors enamels. The building thread is here: Here is the final product: IMG_20190317_115029 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190317_115024 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190317_115033 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190317_115043 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190317_115053 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190317_115104 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190317_115125 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190317_115159 IMG_20190317_115216 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190317_115253 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190317_115323 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190317_115349 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190317_115404 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190317_115437 by basco.br1, en Flickr I really hope you like it!! 14. Thank you all for your kind comments! yes, the whole plane is painted by hand, i don't have an airbrush, but i find relaxing painting with a handbrush. It's been a quick building, i think i'm finishing it by saturday night - sunday. I need it by that time cause im starting my shifts at the hospital. Here are some pics of the decals: IMG_20190314_210436 by basco.br1, en Flickr I'm proud that i match the tiger stripe's gray with the decals one: IMG_20190314_210500 by basco.br1, en Flickr sadly some of the paint got damaged with thiner as you can see in the nose IMG_20190314_210513 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190314_210524 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190314_210534 by basco.br1, en Flickr Today I added the landing gear, as you can notice the plane has it's matt coat IMG_20190316_161856 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190316_161902 by basco.br1, en Flickr I think that the next set of photos will be the RFI thread, i'm glad you liked my plane, thanks for the support!! see you soon Bruno.-
  15. Continuing with the hornet, some pics of the painting process: First a light ghost gray coat IMG_20190310_160427 by basco.br1, en Flickr Then i painted the upper surface with dark ghost gray: IMG_20190311_140107 by basco.br1, en Flickr the nose with some sand paint IMG_20190311_141620 by basco.br1, en Flickr Then it was time for the stripes: first I masked the place where the roundels go, the "CANADA" decals and the flags IMG-20190312-WA0028 by basco.br1, en Flickr After that I draw the stripes IMG_20190313_000327 by basco.br1, en Flickr Here is the painting process (ignore my slippers lol) IMG-20190313-WA0009 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190313_172903 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190313_173057 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190313_173108 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190313_213015 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190313_213026 by basco.br1, en Flickr I already started with the decals, soon i'll upload those photos. Hope you like it! Bruno.-
  16. this is what i made yesterday: IMG_20190309_162048 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190309_183112 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190309_183117 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190309_204256 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190309_212056 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190309_212111 by basco.br1, en Flickr This plane was missing some antennas and the slime lights on the wingtips, so i made them with scratch IMG_20190310_131427 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190310_132106 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190310_132123 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190310_132134 by basco.br1, en Flickr That's all by now, next i'll paint it with the regular cf-18 scheme and then the tigermeet stripes. See you soon! Bruno.-
  17. The next thing I finished was the ejection seat: IMG_20190309_115552 by basco.br1, en Flickr The cockpit with the decals IMG_20190309_130145 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190309_130155 by basco.br1, en Flickr The instrument panel: IMG_20190309_141016 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190309_141031 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190309_141043 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_20190309_141100 by basco.br1, en Flickr This is what I have so far, hope you like it! Bruno.-
  18. Hello everyone!! this is my first build of the year. As the title says, im going to recreate a cf-18 duringthe tigermeet from 1991: This is the kit: IMG_6283 by basco.br1, en Flickr it is the old italeri mould, so i dont think it needs a review of the sprues. As you may know, this kit has raised panel lines, it lacks the gun cannon, and it will need a lot of filler. Anyways i will try my best to make it look decent. here is the decal sheet: IMG_6284 by basco.br1, en Flickr I wont use the tiger stripes decals, i'll paint them. IMG_6286 by basco.br1, en Flickr As you can see, revell try to erase the italeri trademark from this part Now getting in the building process, I have already assembled the cockpit IMG_6288 by basco.br1, en Flickr not sure if that two boxes in the top are gray or black if someone have a reference. The instrument panel got sanded to remove the injection excess IMG_6290 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_6292 by basco.br1, en Flickr Since the canopy will be closed, i wont put to much effort on the instruments, so i will only put the decals IMG_6289 by basco.br1, en Flickr Cockpit painted with humbrol 64 IMG_6294 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_6299 by basco.br1, en Flickr And landing gears and bays painted with humbrol 130 IMG_6301 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_6303 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_6298 by basco.br1, en Flickr Im hoping to finish this plane before the 15th of march, since that day i return to nursing school. That's all by now, tomorrow ill buy some new paints and some filler for the plane. Hope you like it and feel free to comment! More soon! Bruno
  19. Hello! I made this bird couple of months ago, I couldn´t upload it before because im currently finishing nursing school, so i have a lot of stuff to read and study 😪 So, this is the heller kit, I heard it has some inacuraccies on the wing size and shape, but it depicts well a Mig-29. It was entirely painted with humbrol enamels and handbrush. Here are the photos: I was surprised that the instrument panel of the kit its actually "similar" to the real one (not random buttons everywhere) IMG_2275 by basco.br1, en Flickr tiny seats IMG_2277 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_2553 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_2554 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_2555 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_2556 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_2557 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_2558 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_2559 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_2560 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_2561 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_2562 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_2564 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_2565 by basco.br1, en Flickr IMG_2566 by basco.br1, en Flickr Hope you like it!!
