Nope it looks pretty bad close up matey ..youll see it at a show ..then you will laugh so hard you'll get a headache .. yes that's a Berlin Chiefy only real men build those .. little frightened people do black and green ones

Cheers Guys for your comments , this has been the first kit I have built since October last year , when I totally lost the will to build anything , but I enjoyed building this kit even though everywhere I looked people said this was a rubbish kit , and to make a proper JS11 WAS TO THROW IT AWAY AND SCRATCHBUILD ONE ... But far as I'm concernedit looks like a JS11 so that's good enough to me. The good thing though what I found in the box was a set of Aftermarket decals with the Gitanes logo's ..which bought the car to life and made it look like the real car , the only down side was the Logo decals for the Facom and Champion spark plugs ..as you can see only one side has them on and those were the wrong version for the kit ..as I only have one set of the correct ones ..so I'm going to print out some more and remove the other ones on the model and replace them with the correct ones later on I forgot to add the kit was started by someone else ..so Steve told me ..when I started the kit I found the tyres all worn ready for me ..so those were the only part I didn't do I'll bring it along as long as its at the back of the table ..its not one of my best builds this ones fantastic at 30 foot away

Well believe it or not I have been working on this kit since my last post ... well more progress this is a strange kit to do , as in you can't build anything until youve painted it ... but you can't paint it until you built it ..but I have worked my way round this ..somehow As for the decals these where a nightmare which I won't do into too much as in their total shiiiite and don't fit properly !! and then after 3 days of microset , micro sol and of course half a ton of klear ..only for them to lift up and rip when I put some tammy tape on ..luckily I had spares ( Sorry Phil no ciggie advertising for your one ) So heres some pictures (Dont laugh too hard guys ) Seat Steering wheel and dials Completed engine and fitted exhaust system Now next picture as we know Cigarette advertising has been banned by some guys in Europe ( Funny some other guys in Europe did that in the 1930's ) , as we will look at this and go buy some ciggies I had to mix up the paint myself which was 9 parts revell 52 1 part revell 54 ..But the decals look pretty bad

I've built both the Tamiya and Hobby Boss versions ..to be honest go for the Hobby Boss as it has more different variations ( Swedish, Danish etc etc ) ..plus its half the price of the Tamiya ..But the Tamiya is the Easiest kit to build

Thats the kit and have to say its pretty good , even the rear suspension this straight even Tamiya couldn't manage that on their 1/20 P34 Hi Phil ..Not sure on the tyres apart from they are black and rubbery but they seem pretty OK ..I'll have a looky at those pictures if you don't mind

Well most of you have seen this one on display at the shows , But to be honest I thought the paint job looked a bit crap ..So while I was waiting for some bits to dry on my Ligier build I thought I'd give this old one a touch up plus do the weathering a bit better so I mixed up some Tammy smoke , Neutral grey , Flat earth and a dash of Nato black for good measure , to try and replicate road dust after a heavy days rain all I need now is a base
