Hi just something I finished,I bought the cart sometime back,and the idea came to me when I read To War with Wellington about all the amputees,the oxen is metal and all the other 28mm figures are a mix of manufacturers,every figure is modified to suit,I had fun and enjoyed doing this and hope you enjoy to.Cheers Jim.
  3. Some progress on these figures,Finished all the Rohan horses and figures,and one box set finished of the Marlborough Wars,liked these so much I bought another box set,( I know a little crazy)will paint them another colour,Cheers for now.
  4. Thanks Ratch,Warlord have just put out some very nice new figures,these are just 2 sets I have bought,I am keen at the moment on painting the War of the Spanish Succession (1701-1714),Like the colours and uniforms,the Scots I think I may paint them in the Jacobite colours of the Highlanders.
  5. Thanks Andy,Know what you mean,I'm not in your league,being new to these figures,but these are nice moulds,I've had some nice metal figures of late,from Tsuba Miniatures ( Empress miniatures) and Claymore Castings,all made in UK.
  6. Saw these nice metal figures,so thought why not,From the Warlord figures in the Black Powder range,twelve 28mm Colonial Regiment mixed figures and twelve 28mm HighLanders,all figures are nicely sculptured and the sword hilt on the Scots is a real treat.

I picked of these box sets of the Marlborough's wars,I have started the Infantry of the Grand Alliance first and these are in the British colours,they are reasonably easy to paint,I have one figure finished to show how they look,and in the middle of this I am painting the Riders of Rohan and their horses. cheers Jim
  9. Hi these are some of my 28mm figures I have been painting over the last few months,They are Napoleonics,Freikorps Werdenfels, 2 sets of Crossbow men teams and the Marlborough's War figures I am working on.Also 3 pics of my growing Napoleonics.Cheers.

These are part of the WarLord Field Artillery box set,this lot is the Continental figures with a 6 pounder cannon,the kit came with 2 female figures and 2 casualties,I used both female figures which were modified,to suit and the same with the casualty figure,the barrels came from D/D fine/cut accessories.Cheers and thanks for looking.

A great lot of variety in the figures Andy ,do like the Austrains,love the hats they wear.I have a box of Victrix Austrain Landwehr,and yes it sure is great to clear the work bench of half started figures,wish I could say the same,Sorry I missed you down under could have shouted you that beer.Cheers.

  20. Great painting on these little figures,seeing you had some problems with them they turned out well,I know I have trouble painting my 28mm but the 1/72,just to small for my eyes,and yes I must check my biscuit bins,thought my wife only kept our afternoon snacks in them 😉,Cheers.

Hi just finished these 28mm plastic Prussian Line Infantry Perry Miniatures,with some Warlord metal Prussian High Command,and the Mule with the pack on, is from Wizkids D/D deep cut range,must say they are realy fine figures,it comes with 2 mules in the pack and primed(,it is resin)The figure helping the wounded figure were both scratch built from spares ,I also have a pic of the 95th Rifles a metal set from Warlord I finished just before starting these,Enjoy, Cheers Jim.
