Simply in a word, WOW!!!

Stunning model and paint job, it really is well done. I looked at the Striker kit myself but was put off by the many complaints over the warping of the wings but would you say it was worth a go for an amateur like me? Thanks for sharing your amazing build!

My first 1 day build was a tie fighter by Revell and it was the first time I used and mixed my own acrylic paints rather than using Humbrol or the like. It took a couple of hours to complete but I am happy with how it turned out. It is a shame you cannot see into the cockpit as that was painted too including the big bad Mr D. Vader himself. Another 1 day build of a tiny model kit. The detail is there and I just need to finish off the weathering and we should be finished!

I have been doing small one day builds just to get back into the flow of modelling after a couple of years away from it so have been doing the Revell Star Wars Rogue One kits and just wanted to put them up for all to see. They are not perfect by some of the standard but thank you for looking and any comments are appreciated! This one is the Naboo starfighter and my goodness it was tiny. Enjoy!

Hi all, my name is Pete and I have modelled on and off for nearly 40 years but am still not that much cop at it lol. I do enjoy small one day builds and am about to embark on the LED road with a few kits so any help will be appreciated. I do love my Star Wars kits, especially the new Bandai stuff and have a few of them done. Add to this the Revell kits and also my current kit which is a Fine Molds Y-Wing, then you can see what sort of things I like I look forward to chatting to you all and asking for advice but primarily reading about all your amazing builds and techniques used. Finally, a big thanks to Mike who sorted out my account. I have used spamfiend for many years but it blocked me from registering but I am here now so hiya to you all from a fellow, if amateur modeller.
