Hi All, well almost coming to a full stop with my 200th Hood!!. Why you may ask. Well I can't seam to get hold of a wooden deck set for her??. I know there are sets out there with the deck in them BUT I only want thr deck not all the photo etch!! and metal parts as I already have the trumpeter upgrade kit. I've looked through the internet till I'm crosseyed. But as key nowt!!. I am building as many of the sub assemblies as possible. But I'm getting near to the stage where I can't go any further. Plus I've cut the lower hull off so I have my waterline model. So I'd like to ask if anyone has any info on ARTWOX or Mk.1???. Thanks in advance. Brian...

Hi All, just joined the forum. My name is Brian I'm 65 and retired been building models of all types for well over 50 years now. My main interest is WW11 armour but I like to build most types of models. I live in Romford Essex in the 🇬🇧.At the moment I'm building the Trumpeter 1/200th HMS HOOD. Going quite will so far I am doing her as a waterline version. I must say I was worried about cutting into a £290 model but it came out ok!!. So now a question I see there are two upgrade set for the Hood!! mind boggling expensive. What I'd like to get is the wooden deck kit but there doesn't seem to be one out there at the moment on it's own???. I have used the ARTWOX deck kit for my 200th Bismarck kit. So I assume the they will bring one out for HOOD???. But as yet nothing. So if anyone has any info to help me out it would be great. I look forward to mybe picking your brains out there for more info on my build. Many thanks. Brian...
