New Bloke

Hello, everyone- having admired the incredible work on Britmodeller for some years now, I thought some of you might be interested in one of my own recent efforts. I've noticed a couple of threads on this and other forums regarding Johnny Red, the old aerial combat strip published in British weekly comic Battle, including several 1/72 goes at Johnny's beloved Hawker Hurricane. Language and attitudes are all exactly as they should be, and so- I hope- are the aircraft. In fact, some of the research on Britmodeller proved most helpful to Keith and myself when we were working on the story (most casual readers won't worry too much about a Hurricat ending up re-engined as a Hurricane II, or a DSG/EDSG paint job becoming DE/DG, but we did). If you were a fan of the original, or you just like seeing fantastic-looking aeroplanes going through their paces, you might find Johnny Red: The Hurricane well worth your time.
