  1. Some of attachment points on sprue H make me feel 🤢 chance of breakage of the parts removing them from sprue is probably high but a cool subject and one I will probably have to get...but it will sit in the cupboard for 15 years as I'll be too afraid to build it....
  2. Great choice, finding Hasegawa B-24's can be hard and/or expensive. Hope they release other variants down the line
  3. Love Japanese twins, so many of them have been forgotten to history, its great to see this one built. A really good looking aircraft....
  4. Nah, Revell still make a lot of decent kits or rebox others like Hasegawa or ICM. I don't think Revell are as bad as this kit suggests but they should market it differently like Airfix and others do and call it a "classic" or something
  5. Fair play for the effort in tackling this with none of the usual tools or paints! I know this kit, Revell should not be selling it IMO - truly awful when compared with Airfix and others.
  6. Thought I would do a single post of some recent builds I completed, Academy B-29 that had been sitting for 4+ years unfinished, plus a Ju-188 (Hasegawa) I should have done for recent group build but got side tracked and an Italian P-39 (Arma Hobby).
  7. Don't think I have ever seen one of these built, excellent to see one! In unusual markings too!
  8. Built this after watching "The Bombardment"/ The Shadow in My Eye on Netflix which I found pretty moving and a great film. Great kit from Tamiya with no issues. Pilots are from CMK I think.
  9. This is only my 2nd ever tank as I focus only on 1/72 aircraft usually but fancied mixing things up a bit. Picked this kit up randomly in an actual real model shop instead of online purchase! Really enjoyable quick build, photo etch gunsights were a pain as they are absolutely tiny. With my 1st ever tank, T-34-85
  10. I've got at least 10 Bf109 versions in 1/72 in the stash but reading that leaflet I NEED these Eduard special editions 🤣
  11. Looks amazing, but seeing this for £29.99 (not inc. shipping) on a well known supplier...that feels a bit steep for a single 1/72 kit IMO. Hopefully will come down in time
  12. Classic scheme! And +1 on the Academy kit, it's great. Question: what's the white bomby/pod thing under the wing? Or is it radar of some kind?
  13. Fantastic modelling! Looks great in this scheme.
  14. Calling this massive flying boat done as it's been a 2 year slog where it sat on the shelf of doom for a year after a weathering experiment went very wrong indeed and I had to re-spray a wing 😩 So I am classing this one as "saved from the bin". With all the crew to paint these 4 engine jobs are a serious investment in time, I won't be in a hurry to build another but I have 2 more of these unbuilt 🤣 I might go back and some exhausts stains and work on the propellers a bit more
  15. I really liked building this one, classic Matchbox Noorduyn Norseman (Revell boxing)
  16. Calling this one finished after a few months. Could not be bothered to weight the nose instead using the supplied stand from the clear sprue to keep it sitting right! Enjoyable build overall, great fit and no issues. Kits World decals (great) I am staring to have significant challenges with display space 🤣
  17. Brave paint scheme, that makes me scared just thinking about it Don't think I have the airbrush or skills to attempt the squiggles! Best of luck on it thought, never seen this boxing or decal option before, is interesting
  18. Forgot I signed up to this, but I am intending to build 188 - as long as I can get a couple off the backlog first. B-26 nearly done though so might make a start in few weeks. H8K Emily, Mosquito, Avenger & P-39 all unfinished wish I would stop starting all these kits 😂
  19. I will also bet on a 1/72 Zero...ideally it could then end up in an Eduard Royal Class x4 boxing with loads of extras...I like the royal class 1/72 they did of Spitfire and Fw 190 with beer glasses etc. P-47 would also be nice
  20. Looks superb, nice to see a more obscure Japanese twin engine bomber built as well
  21. My money is on Short Stirling or TBD Devastator, Aichi D3A1 Val - all in 1/72 Anything new tool that is 1/72 and WW2 and i am happy 🙂
  22. Really great model, well done - is it me or are the holes in dive brakes a bit small?
  23. I picked this out the stash looking for a quick single seater build having never built a Fly Models kit before and to be honest, I nearly did not make it to the end with this one, a tricky and difficult build (for me anyway) and got really frustrated by the somewhat pointless resin parts which personally I don't think adds anything other than more time and complexity. That said, happy with end result and on balance, I am just pleased we have a modern 1/72 G.50 kit out there and I would do another Fly Models kit, I just found this one a bit of a drag (off and on for about 6 months!)
