  1. I know exactly what you mean alecras ive had a 1/35 maquette valentine which is just nearing completion. I started the kit over seven years ago and had all sorts of trouble with the poor moulding (loads of dips and sink holes to be filled and a very poorly fitting turret roof) probably spent more on filler than the kit itself 😂. I'll be posting some pics soon along with my hybrid firefly mash up (italeri front glass, tamiya hull and Tasca turret) keep it going, I'm sure it will turn out alright in the end
  2. Do like your flag. I think a lot of peeps on here would be interested in a step by step tutorial with lots of pictures tbh I'm feeling a little bit daft still not getting what you've said above. And there is a model I want a flag on. But I want it to look as good as yours
  3. A very unusual subject looking good, more pix pls, ta!
  4. Thought that was a 1/35 before I saw the lighter
  5. Me thinks you've been listenin' (no 'G') to too much radio 2
  6. Amazing work when are you going to open up the engine bay?
  7. Not a bad idea. You doing just the visible track links. Or are you a gluten for punishment??
  8. I think Michael has a point. As well as the real life effect of the weather such as sun bleaching etc.... overall though looking good
  9. I love the interior effects! Do you use the sprinkle of salt method where i) base coat metal ii) sprinkle the salt into a damp are iii) main camo colour the afv iv) rub the salt away to show the worn areas Just wondering.......cheers
  10. Looks really good. Have you kris b's build? Changing the tracks have made a big difference over the tamiya rubber bands. I made one years ago, not half as good as yours. The fuel can rack is a particularly smart addition, was it scratch built?
  11. Changing the track have made a vast improvement to the overall look of the model 'X'lent
