Agreed Maestro G However, the Early Marks are even better with Hobby Boss... Reductor case have a more conform shape than the Tamiya offering.... Tamiya still is an ace in its courtyard... Hello Gents, I worked on the Super bug, Corsairs and the Stargazer.... I tried to see if a bit of Crystalclear will improve the screens, So I tested on one only... It looked better once cured... Soooo.... I then scratched an optical mask to close up the pilot tub.... Internals are sparse, but I promised not to buy improving kits.... So, I'll may be close the canopy on this one.... Which is rare for me.... I already ate my credits in adding parts from other kits.... And here we are.... The kit is a basis, I'm not really satisfied but.... See @giemme there was a decal to put on the air intake, but paint is far better... I was wondering about the time spent on models... Yup John... I'm not faithful at all about this kind of assembly for the wings... Air intakes are improved... I was guessing about a bit of metal drybrushing but.... Are these metal parts ??? Hello Gents... My friend Giorgio @giemme will be itching a bit more then..... Serial building and kit bashing has also its inconvenience.... When a certain muppet use parts from a kit to improve another kit..... And then..... Just one way... Scratchbuilding the missing parts !! By luck, it is only the flame hidder for the exhausts.... Pheeeewww Next time, I should write it on the instruction sheet because guess what ?? I spent a lot of time to search for these parts.... Before I remember that I used it on the HB F4U-5... That has been turned into a -5N.... a bit of PPP and it is done... Then, the postman dropped it from the big H.... after the taxman took his toll on me... Rats !! almost the same amount than the decals value.... Decals for a 318th F(AW)S Twin Mustang are here..... One more problem solved.... There are still a possibility for 2023 to be a two Corsairs RFIed.... I know... I'm mad as hell.... But what can I do ?? Building more Corsairs..... Have a great modelling week !! Sincerely. CC
