My first model in 1/350, also my first ship model. If you have tip on how to improve the weathering, I will take note. I used enamels but I think I could ave done a better job. Thank you very much.

Italeri reboxed the tamiya one with some other minifigures (that I also have purchased separately and that are still on the working bench, if you are interested in the subject they are really nice, there aren't many plastic Italian infantrymen).

I have always been fascinated by the North African Theater, the desert, the tanks, long range patrols, water problems, the sun filtering between the palm leafs of an oasis... I decided that my first 1/35 tank had to be from those battles, that little piece of war that sometimes is left behind the large scale battles that took part on the western and the eastern front. So, with this magic setting in my mind, I decide to model the Tamiya 1/35 M13/40 Carro Medio. Now some of you may notice that this M13/40 has many features of the M14/41 production, the major difference between the 2 was the engine and minor chancing in the exterior, like the number of rivets above the twin mg port, or the orientation of the engine grill. I decided to not mount the driving lights on my model, i noticed how some tanks in pictures idnt have them, maybe they were not really useful, and the crew removed them during the day to prevent damage from small arms fire. The camo is a mix of a true and a fantasy one, tank crew often added patches of green over the sand tone, mine decided to paint some irregular (and really badly painted, but that's my fault, I am not an ace of the airbrush) green stripes. Markings are for the first tank of the first platoon, maybe one day I will add a radio antenna. Here the photos sorry if I bored you! it's also my first time using pigments and enamels, i tried not to overdo the weathering, and i stil have some problems with decals, I need to buy a good decal softer. Outdoor photos! The sepia effect is really inspirational. A 1/72 L3/lf I found on a fair for a bunch of $$$, I always wanted to do one of these tankette, and the lf version is even better. The cart isn't aligned with the terrain even in real life. And here with the friends. Thanks!

Finally i have managed to put my dirty hands on a 1/72 vehicles. This time is an Italian one, the AS42 Sahariana scout car, it just misses the decals but the diorama is ready, maybe a little tree on the background... Anyway! The AS42 was meant to be the response to SAS and Desert Rats raids, with a max speed on road of 90km/h and 37km/h off road, heavy armament such as the 20mm Breda cannon and additional HMG and LMG, lots of canisters for water and fuel, spare wheel and 2 metal planks to surpass trenches and help removing the vehicle from the ground, should have been a pretty desert lady. It could also mount a 47mm Elefantino anti tank gun. Here the photos! It's my first true diorama, all brush painted. The idea for the diorama was a patrol stopping to check for the presence of water to be indicated to others troops, but I had a shortage of Italians 1/72 figures so it's the lonely sergeant Mario getting lost in the desert. I have completed this model a while ago, it was a sort of test for some weathering techniques I use nowadays, so it is not at his full potential. Here it is, the Nameless Knight! After his homeword has been destroyed by a Tyranid Bio-Fleet, he made a vow of revenge, he will not take his name back until the Tyranid menace has been completely wiped out, so for now there are not any house marks on him, only kills mark. The cockpit was not really the easiest I have seen, it did not fitted well

Hi all! my first vehicle in 1/72, the kit is the Italeri fast assembly one, pretty bad designed, no internals and not all pieces were fitting well in place, still enjoyed the build! The M40 was a Semovente (Self propelled artillery) build after the success of the German Stug III in the Blitzkrieg. Armed with an Howitzer caliber 75mm and long 18 times 75mm (We had a strange way for cataloguing artillery), was primly intended in an infantry support role, but with the introduction of anti tank rounds, like the E.P. (Effetto Pronto or Ready Effect that was an HEAT charge), or A.P. rounds, could efficiently fight enemy armour of that period, especially against the first production of British tanks and early Shermans. The frontal armour plate was of only 50mm in the thickest part. Here it is! Well weathered and ready for the North African campaign. I then made my first diorama, the bush and the ruins are a bit out of scale, I am used to major scales. Of course, it gets a license plate! I added on the right side the symbol of the Divisione Ariete (Ram Division) Thanks for the visit.

Hi all! Here I am back! I have finally finished the MC 202, the first Italian fighter more or less at the same level of the enemy best fighters of the '41. With a German engine, the DB601 (or the equivalent Alfa Romeo version RA 1000 RC.41), armed with 2 12.7mm and 2 7.7mm Breda machine guns, was pretty maneuverable and had an excellent climb speed. Here is mine from the second Fighter group "Gigi Tre Osei" (Gigi three birds), the squadron was later equipped with G.55 and fought with the Germans after the Cassabile Armistice in 1943. Finally no dust on the wings! And the decals also are not shining!

A tank interlude between two aircraft, just a fun, fast and easy work to test my weathering skill. It is a model which principal purpose is gaming, so I wanted it to have a cartoonish look, if you're gonna kill Nazi you're gonna do it in style! Thanks for viewing!

Thanks to all of you guys! I prefer the cartoonished look of the spanish school on 1:48 models, they are bigger and I find them more visual interesting when weathered. On the other hand, I prefer vehicles of the "small" 1/72 scale to be in a polished look. They are little, they are tiny, and I feel satisfied when all the lines of the camo are straight and all the colours are in the right place without deburring (deburring? I have never used this word ). It is just my crazy personal opinion . By the way in origin i didn't want to weather so much the aircraft, only panel lining, but the not so well laid layer of gloss varnish made the enamel vash difficult to remove and I had to improvise.
