  1. I came across 5 Mil MI24s in Kabul airport and can confirm that they do not possess a blade fold capability
  2. Beautiful model. However, your staining is a little excessive. Operational aircraft were wiped down with PX24 every day and if i had left my aircraft in that condition I would have been shot by the squadron SMR.
  3. We used to regularly load these onto MK3 Lynx in the 80s.
  4. It was around 1992/1993 that the BERP blades were being introduced into the Lynx naval squadrons stationed at RNAS Portland. During that time there were 3 naval squadrons operating the Lynx. 815, 702 and 829 squadrons. 829 were transitioning from the Wasp and was eventually dispersed into the 2 original squadrons which had moved from RNAs Yeovilton in 1982. I was privileged to have worked on these beasts during that time.
