Me too I could buy a kit and sacrifice it for the bits but I know if I do that I won't rob the bits I'll do the kit and still be in same position lol

Should be able to make reinforcement out of plasticard and rivit marker it's the turret which is the problem. As I'm a newbie do you think I'm taking on too much?

Hi I have a 1/48 Tamiya Lancaster that I would like to turn into the Canadian heritage excample, my issue is it has a different upper gun turret to one supplied in kit. Does anyone out there know how to get over this. Thanks in advance. Tom
