I'm far from an expert on the Victor, but on the Vulcan it took some work to turn them back into conventional bomb carrying aircraft. I'm suspecting it was a pretty hefty fit so that the missile was not at risk of pulling itself off of the airframe by weight alone!. Probably just the recess and fairings when no bomb was carried. Could be wrong but that's what I would say.

Hi, I usually stick to my favourite Mirage, the IV, however I like delta's so would you say this is the best way to do a 2000?, I mean to mix the Italeri and Heller kits?.

I actually converted the Airfix Scout into a Wasp. The undercarriage was made from plastic rod and Harrier outriggers cut to size, a new tail end and underside part (at the base of the tail/fuselage) and a new horizontal tail piece. Also made the flotation gear from bass wood. Will put pics up if I can.

From what I remember they are not awful in my humble opinion but they are noticeable. They don;t tend to affect the decals or painting.

I've managed to get a couple of the Otaki C-5 Galaxy kits. No real internal or wheel well detail but they look the part once finished. Also have two released by Revell.
