  1. I was looking for decent looking, affordable model display stands and I discovered these fishing lure display stands from onfireguy.com for my 1/72 collection:
  2. I used Testors Flat Aluminum on mine 20 years ago and am still happy with the result.
  3. 1/72 Airfix Harrier GR 9, Hasegawa Sea Harrier, Hasegawa Harrier GR3 And the soon-to-be gone AV-8B (Italeri 1/72)
  4. Great job! I had time over Christmas to bang one of these out. Not like the Airfix kits of my youth, that's for sure!
  5. I remember there was some controversy when the B of B Hall first opened because very few B of B veterans were invited to the dedication ceremony. The Daily Mail's news story on the event was headlined, "Never Were So Few Invited".
  6. I wish all Academy kits came with pilot figures!
  7. I built the Itsleri Gripen years ago and found it to be a fun, easy build.
  8. Agreed! Not the easiest build, but glad I did it.
  9. What scale are you building in? I've been looking for 1/72 SEA decals for the F-100D without success.
  10. It's in storage now. This is the best pic I have of it. You can see it above the Mirage III.
  11. Here are some old pics of my Heller AWACS and AF-1 707, and AMT KC-135A. They're all in storage now.
  12. Probably easier to scratch build the fin extension than what I did, which was to mask and airbrush the USAF aggressor scheme for a Canoas-based F-5E.
  13. Long story short, there's no practical way you can turn an Italeri/ AMT KC-135 into a 707-320. If can't find or afford a Heller 707, try a Heller USAF or NATO E-3A/B AWACS (with the older engines, not the CFM 56s).
