Count me in, I'll actually give myself time to finish next year! lol

As you can all see, I was unable to complete the He111 before the close, but got pretty close, as it currently sits waiting for Decals, Christmas got in the way! Should be uploading the pics at end of the week!

Yeah, I find it much easier, I usually only do the wings though, it's mostly so I don't slap paint on the other side so to speak. Doesn't always work mind, but it does help. Unless it's one colour like this is, I leave the fuselage until it's together!

I did start this at the start of the month but have only got round to posting the first pics, should have it done by the end date! I had many a thing to choose from, but after building the BoB He111 P-2 at the start of the year, I couldn't resist using it as my MTO subject, so without further ado, here is the box sprue and scheme shots... I did first paint the wings and fuselage, however I seemed to neglect to take a pic of this, so we jump straight to the inner fuselage wall before getting ready to put the fuselage together! Once the glue had dried, a bit of sanding was required and I attached the middle part of the underneath of the wings, this was pretty straight forward and caused me no issues at all! I then completed the undercarriage bays, moved the everything over to my primary model space and got the wings together... This is it for now, I have done more overnight on Friday coming into Saturday, but have yet to upload these pictures, suffice to say, I'm already getting close to the finish line of this excellent kit already, it's such a joy to build! It's just occurred to me that I've not posted my Academy Corsair on the gallery, so here it is...

I know it has been a while since I've updated my build, but I have been working on it and getting to the closing stages... I glued the finished cockpit into one of the fuselage halves and then glued the fuselage together... Then started on the wing, as Jean mentioned above, these were in 5 parts, so had to put the bottom fuselage part in first... Then the already painted normal wing parts... I then had to get the wings together, which needed some wiggling into place to avoid using the dreaded filler... And then to finish off this update, I gave the fuselage it's first couple of camo coats...

Here is the Academy Corsair in all it's glory... And now that is all complete, here is the sprue and scheme shots for the Revell (the box made an appearance in the first pic of the thread!)...
