  1. That was a wonderful trip! It looks like you had a lot of fun. I hope to take my daughter there next year when she visits from England.
  2. Hi Manfred, Iโ€™m still out here. That song is my favourite of all. Your build continues to amaze me. I see the tiny details are smaller than ever and the research is meticulous.
  3. Great to see more progress! The Astrovan looks fantastic. And yet more amazing research ๐Ÿ‘
  4. Every time I check in on your progress I see mind blowing detail. Without your famous cent there, it would be hard to comprehend the small size, and even then itโ€™s unbelievable!
  5. Great job to work out the right scale and use all the resources to get what you need! I love the tracks and hope it works out to have the right number of shoes! The picture of Michaelโ€™s home museum is incredible! It makes my little displays look decidedly amateur!
  6. Happy New Year! Amazing photos of the crawler being built! You remind me that I still have my Shapeways prints of the crawler tracks, awaiting the day I embark on the project...
  7. Hi Manfred, Glad to hear you are on the mend without the surgery. The lampshade detail Is amazing, I feel like it is a little deja vu! It has been a while. I love the mock up of the diorama. It gives a sense of what you will achieve. And itโ€™s great to see you have a helper in Gino! Even if he only helps you sleep. ๐Ÿ˜†
  8. So sorry to hear of your fall! Iโ€™m very glad it was not worse, but I hope your recovery continues well and that You are pain-free and back to normal very soon!
  9. Hi Manfred. Itโ€™s great to see so much progress!๐Ÿ˜ƒ I have been busy and missed a lot!
  10. This level of detail is mind-blowing. If it wasnโ€™t for the famous cent we would lose the idea of the tiny scale you are working at. ๐Ÿคช
  11. It is a complicated test, in fact. You are right that the texture and absorbency of the paper will have a significant effect. Your thorough testing has given good results. I am used to the advice that for sprayability, the paint should be the consistecy of milk, which I find unhelpful... whole milk, 2%, skimmed? Some milk is like water! I think I have tended to use paint that is too thick and clogs or slows down quickly. I like the advice here, and I will try it next time. ๐Ÿ˜Š
