Does any one have any good tips on seeing fine details on models? I'm struggling to see generally as I have to hold them so close to my face... but I can hardly see the detail on them at all. I've been wearing a head torch (that might not be what they're called) to improve the lighting but I feel a bit silly.

It looks awesome Babylon 5 is one of my favourite shows! I was looking at your progress thread.. it looks quite difficult do! do you think it'd be ok for a beginner?

Hi, I'm new here and new to the hobby This is my first attempt at modelling, my partner helped me with the fine detail and told me how to do it. All together I've sprayed it black boltgun metal over brush black wash boltgun metal dry brush mythril silver dry brush over the plating and the detail was picked out with bestial brown followed up with an overbrush of a paled out ruby red. I left out some of the stickers as they looked too shiny compared to the rest of the ship but I've kept the name of the ship on it.
