Apparently HONG it`s way better (I have the Meng kit) http://www.armorama.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&req=viewtopic&topic_id=247771&page=1

Awesome build ! This machine really looks like a modern IFV should. We`ll wait for MENG kit, imagine how awesome that will be
-
I got the Meng kit, it`s incredible !
-
Ok, browsing various forums I`ve found the above info

That's a good link man, thanks. Also I rate Academy (as a company) pretty high, was it a good build ?
-
Gents, as the title says, in 35 scale who makes the best M1A2 Abrams ?

Hi Mike, I was trying to create the inner contour of the F-15s vertical stabilizers. Basically I did the contour itself with Patafix and on the outside I`ve added mr masking. Ammonia aside, even Patafix (I don't know how you call it in uk) removed some paint also To be precise though, it was only one paint layer
-
Thing is, I was lazy and I masked it like 10 days after painting it, so this is even stranger. Check the pic below please

Hello together, maybe you can help me, I used Mr Masking Neo over a painted surface (Mr Hobby acrylics) and after I removed it some paint peeled off or the surface was damaged. Also I used Patafix on the same part and the result was the same, damaged surface. I primed my parts with Mr Surface 1000 and the paint was thinned using Mr Color leveling thinner Am I doing something wrong ? Cheers

It`s a Fulcrum, how not to like I`ll be following this build
-
I already bought two cans of it
-
Nope, I don't have that locally. What I have though it`s a rich offer from Vallejo, AK, Tamiya, Mr Hobby
-
Hello together, can you tell me please if I can use primers developed for enamels (like revell`s Airbrush email basic) and then to spray over them acrylics like AK Interactive ? Cheers

Airbrushing result = mess :( can you assist please ?

So you are saying health wise acrylics are/could be worse ? -

Crips this, crisps that, I almost got my bottom to the store next corner to get some, thinking of Mike while I do this, of course Now, coming back on acrylics, I do airbrush models in my room, are acrylics worse than enamels ? Also, we have quite a range to choose from locally: AK Interactive, Vallejo, Mr Hobby and Tamiya -

Thanks azureglo, obviously a steep learning curve for me regarding airbrushing. Some reading would come in handy, as I wrote above though I`am thinking to join the trend, meaning go with acrylics and everything that goes with them like priming etc -

Old school british humour right there -

I`ll definitely do that tomorrow mirageiv From now, I`ll buy all necessary paints when starting a new kit - of course minus the ubiquitous black hehe Also, in my country - Romania that is - I see a powerful trend towards acrylics ( we have Revell & Humbrol enamels but they are considered dinosaurs) We have available a wide range of acrylics : Vallejo, Ak, Tamiya, Mr hobby -

Thanks for replying Mike, truth be told, I was using enamels because I thought I could skip the priming part. Now I`am thinking it would be wiser to prime + go with acrylics -

Hello mirageiv, I thought about that too, but I was tempted to blame my lack of experience in airbrushing - I still do, but that paint was very thick in the bottom of the jar and thinner on the surface. I`ve stirred it a little bit but still consistency varied, so I added like 2 or 3 parts thinner. Is it me or white colours are hard to both paint brush and airbrush ? -
Hello together, I`am a beginner at airbrushing and obviously tons of mistakes are made. Below pictures feature Revell enamel (bought some years ago) thinned with Revell`s Email mix, can you tell me please what I`am doing wrong ? Cheers
-
ok guys, I`ll be experimenting with both
-
Haha, yeah enamels
-
Hello guys, I have almost all paints emails - most of them revel some Mr Hobby also. My question is, do I need to give a coat of primer also ? Cheers
