Hi guys, For what it's worth I got a spare prop in the post today from Airfix for the new 1/72 C-47 Skytrain. I filled out the electronic form on the website. Got a response from Airfix saying they should be back in touch within 28 days......ouch I thought! It only took them just over a week to get back to me saying items were in the post & I received them a couple of days later. Didn't even charge or ask for postage costs. Now that is customer service.

I've heard & seen somewhere that the Airfix kit is due out November 2014 but I can't remember where I got that from!

Hi Graham, Certainly is a very thorough review - thanks for the link. I'm definitely not a rivet counter. I'm more of if it looks like a ........ Then it's a ....... Having said that though I think I'd like to change the 'gap tooth' cowling......aaaaargh am I starting to swerve towards the rivet counting!!!!! Nah, of course not I just like to build & mainly out of the box too. Thanks for the post. I've bookmarked it for when I build. Ash

Hi All, I'm hoping another fellow modeller on here might be able to help. I recently purchased the 1/32 Trumpeter F4U-1D (02221) on a generic online auction site. I didn't realise until after I had purchased it & it arrived that the description said No Instructions. I've tried the main Trumpeter web site & also a uk distributer but to no avail. Has anyone got a spare set from a completed model or even willing to photocopy or even photo the instructions for me. Thanking you in advance. Kind regards, Ash
