  1. Hi Willie, Managed to find a photo in the depths of that website, just what I needed! Absolutely brilliant, can't thank you enough.
  2. Hello everyone, Need a little help, would anyone happen to have an image of the fuel tank underside for either the 1983 Yamaha YZR500 OW70 or 1984 Yamaha YZR500 OW76. Thanks in advance.
  3. Hi all, Royalties aside, I just wish certain manufacturers would make the most of their basic moulds. How long do folks around the world have to wait for a relatively affordable, injection moulded 1/12 Ducati 916 /918 superbike racer?
  4. Hi Cameraman, Nothing less my friend, it was a Honda NS250R. It's well past it but the front and rear suspension will come in handy when I to adapt to my current "commuter", an NS125R. It's fully deristricted but otherwise in umolested originial condition, the hideous center stand had to go though... It may not have been the fastest of the GP replicas but it certainly holds it's own against todays 4 stroke 125's and even some 250's on the B road TT.
  5. Hi Les, The only decal option in your kit that can be adapted to the early grey/white scheme would be those for VF-84 Jolly Rogers. In this image, you can see that the markings are very similar to those included in the kit and as you are not concerned with the finer details such as the aircrafts serial number, modex number, etc. this would work very well.
  6. Hi Borez, Recently got my 1989 NS125R on the road. Sadly it's the UK model without the ATAC and with a rev limiter, so there's no option but to have it screaming around at 7000-10,000 RPM. Still, it's great fun on the B roads and surprisingly quick. Fantastic work Imster, such a clean and well detailed build, top job.
  7. Hi all, Finally got my hands on a set of Tamiya 500cc GP motorcycles, after years of looking and being massively outbid. These were all gathering dust in a colleagues garage, bought a real motorcycle off him too... The FZ250 is a very nicely detailed kit. Built one of these eons ago and want to have a go again x2, can't go wrong with these two for a tenner!
  8. Gee, Pick on me why don't you! My comment isn't nonsense, just a different opinion from an average hobbyist. For a lot of folks like myself, the various guises of "accuracy" often takes a back seat to things such as surface detail, features, complexity, potential variants, etc. These points can often be seen in imagery from CAD renders, test shots, previews and reviews along with captions from the manufacturer. This is the info that helps make a choice, not someone preaching hellfire or gospel on the internet. Then again when it comes to something you feel strongly for, I guess our "Inner Nazi" comes out... Boy are fora odd places!
  9. Hi, Siesta maybe? Just kidding, though here is (dare I say it) another common sense way: Find info about what you would like to purchase before spending your hard earned pennies... I can't afford to buy now and decide later! You give those who focus on accuracy far to much "virtual power", the modelling masses aren't Borg-like hive minds.
  10. What!? Madness, I would never have thought someone would produce a new F-20 let alone a dual seat version. Brave decision and I give a major thumbs up for that. Many years ago I managed to make an "F-20B" using the Hasegawa 1/72 kit with the ESCI F-5B front fuselage, I was so desperate to have one! I'm struggling to contain myself... A dual seat F-20!
  11. Hi, This is mental, never knew these egg cars existed. The engine bay work is phenomenal, great skill and style, keep it up!
  12. Hello all, This may well be the most stupid question of all time but how do I join this group build?
  13. Hello JD, Absolutely stunning model, great detailing too. I remember your Seahawk and all the custom detailing, much like this Aston, that build pretty much got me back into making models!
  14. Hello Imster, Good grief! Your model and photography, I thought I was looking at the real deal! Inspirational work.
  15. Hello Andrew, The only difference between the Valencia (14104, 14114) and Laguna Seca (14105, 14115) special schemes are the decals. 14104 and 14105 cater for Colin Edwards and 14114 and 14115 for Valentino Rossi. No idea why they did this as 14116 in the standard colour scheme, includes decals for both Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi. Anyhoo, all these releases share the same plastic, rubber, metal, etc. bits to build a 2005 season factory Yamaha YZR-M1. Magic season for Yamaha that was.
