  1. Thanks for the tip Paul.I thought the food colouring would be good to use before i get the next essential. Extractor unit for spareroom use.I will not be able to vent outside due to placement issue.
  2. I am looking for my first compressor but dont know what type is best.I have read its best to get a unit with a tank so presure is more stable so i will go that route. But i am lost on the following, all that i have read...dry type can not be run long before needing to shut off,a 2 cylinder is much better or even oil filled.I am not too bothered of needing silent a hum is ok,not a drone though. i am a newb so i intend to practice with ink/food colouring on paper so i can see a hour of use at least at the start pre kit painting is possible.any advice pleaase?
  3. VB,Sorry to jump in but I am stunned by your skill levels, amazing work.I am very envious. I am new to this forum and "plastic modelling". I have looking at the 35th armour section as that's where I have decided to start but my real interest is WW1 aircraft.Thats how I run across your post. Can I ask a couple of questions? The whole build and sequence of painting is lost on me even on armour BUT with the colours and detail on those 32nd kits, where do you start! Sorry I am rambling, does that kit you are doing need any filler or fettling, you put so much work in prior to the fuse assembly,i wonder how you keep things safe
  4. Just thought double action might be too complicated for novice. Iawata get mentioned here a lot, looking at th Eclipse HP-CS. 2 things.is the top cup too big for 35th kit use and no preset to limit paint.states its a option handle part.
  5. I am new to the forum and model making.I am into 35th armour for the time being. I intended to brush paint so thought the 35th armour would suit that. after looking here over the weeks and seeing builds etc i feel AB`ing is the way to go. I did do a seach for my question with no luck,i intend to use Acrylics and being a total novice dont know if i need a single or double action? Also is a AB with a preset a must for novice?
  6. Guy,Fantastic skills you have. Can i ask if you solder PE assemblys at all? or just glue?
