Amazing work..is there a trailer unit avaliable for this?

Ive got one of these on my watch list on ebay at the moment. Looking forward to see how yours turns out. Im about to start a 1/24 peterbilt.

Finally got it finished and it turned out ok apart from a few problems. After being pre warned about the door hinges i managed to snap one and lose one Im going to try and make a replacement out of some spare bits lying around The Bonnet no matter how i try i cannot get it to line up properly.. Anyway here are the pics of it finished.. Close up of the bonnet issue.. Im still learning as i go and this forum and youtube have been a massive help.. So much so i went out and bought my self a airbrush today. Looking forward to testing it out Thanks for looking Simon

I made this one a while ago. Very nice kit if your in to classic F1 Could be picked up for a reasonable price on ebay..

Coming along quite quickly today. Few pictures to add Rear Axel.. Got the body primed also.. And dry fitted to the chassis to see if every thing lines up.. Now off to give it a base coat of blue, Simon

Got started today, Managed to prime the chassis and engine and paint them both Applied the chrome engine parts and attached to the chassis frame..

Picked this kit up off ebay with no bids so i thought id give it a go Read a view reviews elsewhere on the kit and most say its a ok build apart from a ill fitting bonnet and some flimsy door hinges I wont be using the flame decals as i think there a bit naff. Bought some Tamiya TS50 mica blue for the body so i hope it turns out ok.. Going to get started later today. Seen some pictures of the finished truck on google and its looks great.. Simon

Thanks for the comments guys. Much appreciated.. (sp) Im gonna try and win another off ebay and have one clean and one covered in mud and have them together on some sort of base. I think it will look pretty good in a cabinet..

Thanks matt, Yeah this is my 3rd. The other 2 our 1/12 tamiya f1 cars which came out ok. Just bought a few models off ebay cheap so i can get used to spraying without ruining a decent kit Will have to check out the armor section for mud advice, Thanks louie Simon

Almost done with the mini... Havent used the micro mesh yet. Spray came out ok Few more pics Had a few problems along the way. A small piece of the dash fell out after i fitted the body. Two pairs of tweezers and 30 minutes later and it was back in. Little bit of touching up to do and it should be there. Just researching now how i make it look muddy.. Never done it before. Simon

Got some spraying done this week. I dont own a airbrush so all can for me. Looking into getting one soon though Never sanded a model before so ordered some micro mesh pads after reading about them here. Pre sanded Simon

Thanks Reggie Got a bit more done today..... Got all the seats installed.. Also the dashboard and steering wheel. Decals were a bit of a nightmare to get in... First coat of primer on the body and the front wings sanded ready for the next coat.. Simon.

I know this mini has been done before (probably many times) so here's my attempt . This is only my 3rd model build ever so please be gentle.. Been working on this for 3 days so far and i dont think its going to bad. Here's a few pics of my progress.. Sorry the photos are not the best..All taken on my phone More parts of the engine added plus touched up the paint..although i've noticed it still needs more touch ups Floor pan all painted up.. Engine now in Tires and exhaust now installed.. Just finished painting the seats and dash. Gonna get that installed tomorrow once its all dry. Im enjoying the build so far. I have seen these cars on here with HT leads and distributor caps on. Where are these available from. Ive had a look on ebay but no luck so far Simon

Great build. I was bidding on one of these on ebay but the price went a bit high for me. Will have to get one at some point.
