  1. thx have to admit 4 little buggers - dwarfs - took me 2 -ish weeks to paint, on the contrary to skaven - easy job maybe its just all in my mind... some more shots: cheers
  2. thx stools were first to fly towards rat ogres, made out of modeling foam and toothpicks had not enough patience for cups though - only one that is spilled, part of Jo Bugman 'kit' which I inserted into the flooring. Cheers PS. More pics in link below: http://mikesmodeling.blogspot.com/2015/07/bugmans-raid-5.html#more
  3. Hiya, My next Warhammer build... Because my fantasy stash has grown to quite a size, thought about using more than one miniature per build... After completing Queen Khalida got in the fantasy mood again (and got break from military), chosen skaven - the underworld vermin of the Old World and Dwarfs. I am not really keen on short, bearded folk, but Skaven raiding party had to have worthy opponent during daring raid for famous ALE Figures are coming from few different sources: 3 dwarfs - champions with hammer & gun, Trollslayer - from old issue of boxed game - Battle for Skull Pass, Jospeh Bugman (the one with the stool), metal model is available from Bugman's Pub at Warhammer World in Nottingham. Skaven are mostly from newer edition of boxed game - Island of Blood, warp gun team, Warlock engineer and rat ogres, but skaven warlord (one with shield) is a Games Day figure from 2011. Cheers
  4. thx figures are 1,5 inch tall, base size 4 x 4 inch cheers
  5. Hiya, Latest project finished Venom Queen Khalida from Warhammer range with leftover bitz from Necrosphinx box... More here cheers
  6. Seen some of these builds at shows - great looking dios! Finally something different to ever popular military & flying thingies ... cheers
  7. Hiya, Latest 'weekend' project, 32mm AxFaction figure with scratch built base, giant's head from Warhammer range. Cheers
  8. there is ju 52 (ba version) in cosford museum and usually available to general public at open cockpit evenings.... been seen and tried not to lick it
  9. If you like to see more, click link below: http://mikesmodeling.blogspot.com/2015/03/xendra-draconia-70mm.html cheers
  10. thx I do like painting things red.... or blue not the first figure done in reddish armor Cheers
  11. Hiya, My first 70mm figure, painted using tamiya & citadel: Cheers
  12. hiya, I've got IP in my stash too and after building heartbreaker armor (which was painted before putting together) started thinking about solution for patriot. looking at your build can say you are half way through at least. Silver/metallic areas are small after all according to painting scheme - so could be masked off first and whole model painted either red or blue then next color masked off and last one applied.... that was my idea how to proceed with the painting scheme..... maybe itl'l help maybe not, but am curious about the outcome Cheers
  13. main idea was about fallout really - that's why radioactive paintjob yes it is clean, could not find anybody having this bike to take a picture of dirt accumulation! but, as one of friendly bikers said: it does not really matter as we like keeping our machines clean! cheers
  14. Hiya While exploring new fields of modeling, I came across motorcycle kits, though about trying one. Picked Honda CBR 1100 from Tamiya in 1:12. The kit was not very complex or difficult, few bits & bobs could be done better but it feels like right step in new direction. Something completely different from all that military!! Cheers
  15. ofc I am, but dont like playing the same xxx times as saves are lost due to often updates... waiting for final version to come out. for now... I am going through all Fallout games (and themed movies) to find as many ideas as I can, and there are many! - of only could find suitable kits... well, if not, will be trying my skills & building from scratch xD I think now, post nuclear reality suits me the best, also like ww2, but that feels too common nowdays... everybody makes tigers, shermans and other JerryScrap. I will explore world after the bombs fell. cheers
