Hi ,after i had posted my comment i had a look on youtube and i saw there were three 109s in the shot . Going back to the film ,did that happen in real life ?I know the Poles and the Czechs were mad keen on getting to grips with the Germans . Anyone heard of a book called "Airmen In Exile"? Seems the high ups in the govt and the RAF were not keen on European nations having their own separate squadrons ,they wanted the pilots to be split up and fly under normal RAF squadrons .

In another thread ,i posted about taking my spray booth apart ,this is the fan out of it ,is this powerful enough ,i plan to put it in the wall of my shed.

Hi ,could not wait until tomorrow ,i wired a plug and tried it ,it works 😀😀. Now just got to make a grid to go across one end of it from the grid thing from the spray booth .

Well i am out of ideas ,i take the top of the bottle off and stir the paint ,now i am out of ideas .

Found this on ebay ,it is the same as the one out of my paint booth ,might try wiring mine up to a plug tomorrow ,it will only trip the switch if i don't do it right . Going to ditch the switch .

For me it is the P47 ,no connection to it ,and the FW190 second place .

I should crank up the air pressure .Also what size nozzle are you using ?I had a lot of problems with a 0,35 ,when i changed to a ,050 it was a lot better .

I do find that spraying small items such as aircraft spinners or wheels ,then VMA is a bit of a pain.

What are you mixing it with ? It is already thinned as you know .

Seems i have been working on this for ever .Resin seats ,and those decals that you stick on for the radio sets .I managed to scrape most of the backing paper off . The bomb bay ,could do with a bit of touching up .Notice the missing bit on the right hand `top bit of the fuselage

Hi ,here is the fan ,as you can see there are two black cables and a white one connected to the body of the fan .So which of the two black wires is the Live and which the neutral ,but seeing as the the wires are the same colour ,does it matter ,i don't think the body of the fan will be live .Any help would be ,,,,,,,,,well you know the rest.

Seemed to have open a can of worms with this topic ,don't have any suicidal tendencies?Well no more than any ex motorbike courier .😁 I have got a electric fan heater ,but it costs too much to run ,This is the gas heater i have ,when i am in the shed it is on the floor about 3 ft away from me . This is where i sit while i am modelling ,i could have the heater in the doorway ,it would just be on to take the chill off the shed .

Hi ,thanks for all the replies and the finger wagging.Think i will get a extractor fan off ebay for a tenner .Should have done that in the first place and see if anyone on here wanted a spray booth . Anyone got any advice about using the gas fire with the door shut ,will a small extractor fan do the job of getting rid of the gas fire fumes ,don't need the spray booth as i wear a face mask . If you are all nice i won't tell you the joke about the ex tractor fan ,

Was trying to use the fan out of my spray booth to use in my modelling shed .In the winter i use a camping gas fire ,with the door open . I thought if i made an hole in the she wall i could fit the fan into it ,get rid of the fumes from the gas fire and the airbrush . So now i am left with the fan ,with a white earth wire attached to it ,plus the two black main power wires .There is a switch with a red and a blue wire ,the two black wires attach to it . Am i right (haha) in thinking that the red and blue wires are live and neutral and the white is the earth ,if i wire them up to the electric cable ,am i liable to A ,trip the switch B ,electrocute myself Or should i chuck the whole lot in the recycling bin ?

Hi ,yes i read that bit .Perhaps (wots going on here ,where have all the Capital letters gone ) a few mummies sent back might sweeten the deal .

I see what you mean ,the camo is not that bad ,but the roundels are wot hurt the eyes . Shame they could no have come to some sort of deal with the Egyptian govt ,offering to give them back some of the looted stuff in the British Museum 🤣
