The ICM Spitfire is now having a bath of oven cleaner to get the old paint off .Will the spinner and tail fin be ok ,or will they have to be changed ,it is going to be a SEAC Spit

Just a few things ,anyone tell me what that thing is on the front the thing with the eye on it ,also didn't do much weathering on it . Forgot to paint the return rollers black ,and i put the hull machine gun on upside down ,managed to put that right without too much trouble

One i made last year ,don't know if i have posted it before .First time with using Link and Length tracks ,very nice kit.Very interested in all the other vehicles the Germans based on the chassis ,got three Tamiya on the bench at the moment .

Might be slightly off topic ,but why are Airfix re releasing kits from the distant past ,such as the P61 ,why would anyone buy one of them when there is a P61 from Hobbyboss out there ?

Very nice ,i have the same kit on the shelf of doom .Been putting off finishing it because i found the Italeri paint instructions are not very clear. Could you tell me what paints you used ?

HAHA ,Badder ,didn't spot that .,falump was my childish way of spelling Elephant .Going to hang a "For Sale ,One Careful Owner " on it and having some British Troops around it and say it is on the Italian front .

Another model that i finished a few months ago. Thinking off putting it in a diorama ,as abandoned by it's crew .

Hi ,sorry it is the old Tamiya kit ,can't say there were any problems building ,it is a shake and bake kit .Dave at the now closed Shrewsbury Model Center said he advised people who had lost their modelling passion to build that kit .

Hi ,don't know how this Stuka Crew passed the strict Luftwaffe medical 😀.

I did a Tamiya Tiger MK1 with Tamiya's stick on Zimmerit ,not really happy with it . Got a Italeri Tiger in the stash with molded on Zimmerit ,i think that is the way to go . Might post a few more photos of the KT .

Thanks for the replies ,yes it was pale blue .As for the rivets ,i read on a review site that on the real Stuka there were raised rivets everywhere . You can see what i mean by the original camo on the cranked bit of the Port wing .

Last of the 1/48 kits i recently made ,there was a Tamaya Harrier and a Revell P38 ,but they didn't make it 🙁 It originally was going to be a BOB Stuka ,but the camo didn't show too well .Lost the aerial . But pinched one from a kit in the stash ,scratch built one for that kit to use in the future .

Ben in love with this P51 ever since i saw in on a school trip to the IWM back in 1974 ,it was hanging from the ceiling .Sorry if the photos are a bit blurred . Had to touch up the nose decal.

Did a bit of weathering on this one ,also used a Eduad Zoom set for the cockpit .The decals were the kit ones and are a bit shiney in places
