  1. Hi AP In my haste to post the photos of the meteor I copied them from the slides incorrectly, this one is correct and it is of me climbing over it. I remember it as it was difficult to start and on one occasion we had to connect a generator set into the "Trolley Acc" to get it to start.
  2. You are correct Don, I will edit the above post Vic
  3. I have just read the thread and wondered if the attached 2 photos might be of help. I took them in late 1964 on detachment at Kuantan Malaya Regards Vic
  4. Hi John Many thanks for the info, I will update you as the build progresses Regards Vic
  5. Hi John I have just started a B2 and have decided to rebuild the cockpit with the cross member for the pilots seat rail guide, I am unable to find the correct position for this cross member, I wondered if you could point me in the right direction as to where I could get this dimension from. Regards Vic
  6. Hi Warren That looks great! There will be bags of space in the Canberra to fit everything plus cockpit lights. Vic
  7. Thanks Warren, I will do some research but must not forget to build the Canberra! Regards Vic
  8. Hi Warren Many thanks for your reply, I take your point regarding the use of fibres rather than led's. I had planned to build a small diorama with the Canberra using a 1960's "Trolley Acc" (my era) to contain the power supply and switch gear. Many years ago I used to use a 555 chip as the flash driver but no doubt there is a modern version of that chip out now. When powered up on the ground the Canberra used to whine a bit from the various inverters running so I could maybe add a sound chip as well but that is down the line a bit. I will let you know as I progress along with the build. Regards Vic
  9. Hi Warren I have just started a 1/48 Airfix B2 Canberra and had in mind to use 1mm led's for inside the cockpit and nav lights, have you used them on a model before? Regards Vic
  10. Great Build! I am just starting on an Airfix 1/48th B2 and hopefully it will end up as one of 51 SQN's Canberra's as I was attached to ASF at RAF Watton in the early 60's
  11. Super Build, I can remember to this day watching and listening to a flight of "Meatboxes" passing over Earlham Park in Norwich when I lived there.
