  1. As above I had a real problem getting the wings to fit, made the Tamiya kit as well which was a pleasure.
  2. Made three of these, great kit OOB, only addition was PE machine guns. Hardest bit, same with most 1/72 WW1 kits is getting undercarriage square and rigged. Cheers, Martin
  3. I have built 3 Roden kits and I think they go together really well, with a little bit of work to make sure the office area fits when fuselage halves are joined, so thats my vote. Also built the Revell one, old kit now, and therefore IMHO it is not as good as the newer Roden.
  4. Have made it and agree that wheels and gun are oversize. Biggest problem was getting tail boom to mate with wings (super glue and pegs required). Also had to scratch build to improve office area. But once done looks ok and was a quick build so I would recommend giving it a go. Also have the Eduard kit (picked up at a model show) which is far more detailed and complex than the revell kit, but have not started it yet due to the amount of rigging required and the mental strength and patience needed.
  5. Dropped into the Birmingham store last Thursday, still some kits (mostly 1/48 it seemed) and paint/tools etc on show. 20% of kits but as I had a email from MZ adding another 20% made sense to look. Staff reckon will be one of the last shops to close but no date yet. Picked up the Dragon 1 72 SAS Raider as looks like a good little kit.
