  1. If you like my results on this link given below I used Humbrol enamels. based on Humbrol 86, but there are many shades of that particular color with addition of sand, yellow and white drops.
  2. yessss yesssss!!!!! this is all I needed:-) Thank you very very much, I will share artwork and build progress soon....
  3. Dear modelers, I have recently found a photo of this impressive jug. This P-47D Shark mouth 525th FS / 86th FG based in Grossetto Italy, October 1944 - pilot: Lt. Riley “Mo” Stewart; I wonder if there is more photo of this particular airframe, I'd like to complete it in 1/72 with custom decals Thank you in advance Omer ERKMEN
  4. You can never get enough of Spitfires :-)
  5. one of the best Whif bulid I have ever seen Best Omer
  6. Here is an illustrated version for what I mean...Please check the moulding and surface quality among them. Airfix detail and moulding quality is far behind. Airfix may be better engineered, more parts or even better detailed on computers but final product has crude and soft details, deep and wide panel lines, sink marks and fitting problems. Situation is worse with their 1/72 offerings...Please go check Eduard or 35+ year old Fujimi Me-110, and take a look at the Airfix version of it...I wouldn't buy it even if it is 1/3 of a price ...
  7. I am sure their spitfire sales are suffering comparing with Tamiya or Hasegawa seales, their mouldings are nowhere close to Tami-gawa offerings... Market would have been more happy with a tempest, typhoon or even a hornet...I'd stick with Hasegawa or Tamiya offerings anyway...
  8. Great, all we needed was another mustang...such a rare object...After all those great mouldings available in the market, do you still believe Airfix Mustang will be a cash cow? Best Omer ERKMEN Like · Reply · 3 mins

  11. Dear Modelers, Hello Modelers, Our local model company will reissue Platz T-33 with the Tan Model boxing very soon. So I decided to create some art work, I didn't realize so many users were existed.
  12. Dear Adrian, I am a big fan of your Warpaint series, I didn't know a T-33 issue as existed. I gathered some poor detailed drawings and visit our museum for further details. I achieved better results with the help of photography. Over a 100 shots from direct angles step by step I covered all the left side... Here is a progress...
