  1. Lovely result Julien, your hard work paid off! I’m busy at the moment with converting a AM TBM3 to TBM3W so it’s nice to see a smaller version of this AEW Avenger. great work!! erik
  2. Absolutely brilliant work Rob!! Very tidy build and just enough weathering, amazing job on the rotor fold mechanism. Great work! Erik
  3. Fantastic work so far! Never heard or saw this version before. Looks like hard work to get it all right but it is in good hands. Eager to see more! Erik
  4. Excellent B-25, the colour and weathering are very well done. Thanks for sharing. erik
  5. Great work there Andy!! Have Dragon box eyeballing to me from the stash. Looks like I can use yours as how to do it. Fantastic model! Erik
  6. Wonderful result Rob! Great work around the nose area, you had quite a lot sanding/filing/rescribing/riveting to do there. I also like the masking work on the tail and nose. I often come across the same problem with the bigger more colourful Dutch Decals, stencils and registrations decals always behave nicely but the ones with lots of colours don't. I think it because of the thick ink or something. Anyway, you have a great Super Sabre now, I really like it and gives me inspiration to build mine! Erik
  7. That is one great looking model Russ! The wing folding mechanism is really well done, fantastic build overall! Erik
  8. Fantastic work overall. The bare metal looks very real, photographs are top notch too! I love it. Erik
  9. Fantastic work Neil!! Picked up a Special Hobby box recently to make a Dutch Weihe, yours is a real example of how it should be build! Top work mate! Erik
  10. Interesting build. Rob, i have the exact same project on the to do list. Nice tip about the intake, need to get a hold on one! Great progress already! erik
  11. Nice start Fred!! If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask, maybe I can give some answers about the build. But off course I’m no expert! one tip I can already give you; maybe you can remove the seam line in the middle of the wing root, that was bad engineering from Dora. good to see you changed the interior to aluminium, a small detail but also a important one and easy to achieve. erik
  12. Fantastic news! Hoping for a N version but in my opinion every version is more than welcome. The Hasegawa is nice too but the segmented fuselage is just not nice. Erik
  13. Great work. This wil sound funny but it looks mean! Great photos too with that background erik
  14. Fantastic work Rob! Must have been quite a job to make the panel lines and all the rivets! erik
  15. Hi Mark thanks for your nice comment mate! No this was just a plain P-51D with a tank that could make pictures. On my model it is a modified drop tank but they also used a tailor made photo pod at the time. Some nice “bob the Builders” in the ML-KNIL! Well Rob and Weekendmodelled, nothing fancy; just a couple of shades from the AK extreme metal line. Superb stuff, not so delicate as Alclad. After the metal shades were added I sprayed some Gunze smoke over the panel lines. Also a grey panel wash was added as was some pastel powder around the wing roots. here’s a WIP, on a different website though; https://www.scalemates.com/profiles/mate.php?id=14213&p=albums&album=83402 Huge thanks for all the comments all! erik
  16. Perfect work all around! The 109, the snow, the figures, everything looks equally good. erik
