  1. Today, the traction avant arrived. I have got lots of ideas that I would like to incorporate in this build.
  2. This model is hopefully going to be with me by this weekend, I bought this as a challenge to myself, as this kit has 1,054 pieces. I intend to build a few extra details such as a roof rack, luggage and magazines etc. I am thinking of doing of doing a two-tone colour scheme, just to be a bit different from the norm
  3. The Scania Engine of the London Bus has finally been started, so far it is coming on well.
  4. Can any of you tell me what brand of tyres did the routemaster use?
  5. Which engine would provide me with the most detail, the Scania or the AEC.
  6. I am looking forward to starting this.
  7. After suffering modellers block, I am pleased to announce that I am back with my latest project the revell london bus. I am currently going through the haynes routemaster bus manual for inspiration of advertisments etc.
  8. Had a change of plan and decided to go with the Scania engine, as it will give me a chance to add more decals on the engine, I am even thinking of taking off the centre section of windows to make an open top.
  9. I've finally started on the routemaster, and for those of you interested I'm going with the AEC Engine to add to the britishness of the build.
  10. I have decided to go with the AEC Engine, to add to the britishness of the routemaster build. I would like to know what part A8 is, as I want to add a decal to this part?,
  11. Yay, bought my routemaster, now let the build begin.
  12. Thank for that information, it will just add a hint of realism to the project.
  13. Could you please tell me what thickness of plasticard did you use for the seat backs.
  14. Now all that I need is a routemaster, so that I can start building such an iconic piece of transport.
  15. I got the haynes routemaster manual, it looks like it will prove to be a really good reference point. Especially when it comes to adding extra details on the routemaster
