  1. Reading your thread, Carl, really makes me want to pick back up the vacs I let stall. Maybe my first will be to get back to the Macchi M.16 from Esoteric. I have it all sanded out, just stopped when I had to "do something" to the interior, and fix the ribs on the wings.
  2. Awesome job! I'll definitely be using your pictures for whenever I get to mine.
  3. Thanks for everything, Carl! Brilliant, the use of the double-sided tape. FWIW, I just received an Esoteric F3B-1 in the mail yesterday. It was one Esoteric US Navy kit that I didn't have, yet.
  4. So you just hold the parts in your hands? Even the flat parts like wings?
  5. Carl, what do you use to hold your parts while sanding? Especially since even pressure is needed across the part while sanding. Thanks. And I'll PM my address to you, but I'm in the US, if that matters.
  6. Or, sand your model in a sink, using water. Then the slurry of "stuff" will be washed away.
  7. I like using Hawkeye Models Talon Aluminum. One great thing about it is it's pre-thinned, so can be sprayed direct from the bottle.
