    I need to do some spraying too. but as that means standing in the garden, or with the patio doors open wide at least spraying outwards, ill give it a miss for a day or two or the wife will kill me.

    mr color buffable brass works well. i bought some real brass shells once and they look OK with a bit of a tone down too. Looking forward to seeing this painted.

    its not just you. Alclad gloss black was a disaster for me too. its awful paint.

    agree, zero paints cover lovely. just a shame they come in such big bottles. i have bottles of the stuff with just small amounts used, with so much waste ill never use again.
