  1. I agree with Leonl, the flight pose really sets it off! couldnt have said it better myself x
  2. Thanks for your help Mike I think Ill be buying http://www.airfix.com/airfix-products/clas...&sortorder= very soon and embarking on what I hope will be a challenging yet rewarding way to spend my spare time! Thanks again
  3. Thanks everyone for your input on this. I’ve definitely got some more research to do! I was thinking of starting out with 1 or both of these; http://www.airfix.com/airfix-products/harr...ter-set-a50093/ or http://www.airfix.com/airfix-products/harr...ift-set-a50017/ I don’t want to shell out a lot of money on my first few kits as I fully anticipate making errors. Is it worth buying one of these kits of should I jump straight in and have a crack at this; http://www.airfix.com/airfix-products/harr...ift-set-a50010/ As always, all comments greatly received.
  4. Looks like I've got some more research to do then!! In terms of what I want to build... I want to start off small and simple (I have a lot to learn) then some time in the distant future I would like to have a go at the Hawker Siddelly Kestrel then moving onto the Hawker Siddelly Harrier (1st gen) then onto the second generation McDonell Douglas AV-8B Harrier II I know this seems ambitious but I thought I'd attempt to build the planes in the order they were manufactured!! Not sure what scale yet but again I will be researching this. Do you have any suggestions?
  5. This is truley amazing. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!!
  6. Hi all, I am new to the modelling scene and given my keen interest in the Falkland’s and WW2 planes in particular Harriers I thought I'd start with a few simple planes. I have been doing some research and have had mixed responses from friends who build model aircrafts and I am after some advice on which brand of models to buy. Out of the following brands, which would you suggest to use; 1 - Airfix 2 - Revell 3 - Tamiya Any comments on the above would be greatly received. Many thanks for your time
