The finish is ace, and it is a great build........................................... But the clam shell engine bay doors open up the way, not down The hinge line is at the top of the opening not the bottom. Just something I noticed. Mark

Thanx fella, The base is just MDF sprayed with FORD coral biege(from Halfords) , Tamiya smoke (enhances the lines between the slabs) , Some games workshop flock for the grass, and a bit of trim arond the edges. hope that helps Mark

Thanx Peeps The MDC is actually engraved in the under side of the canopy,, Just mixed up a white sludge wash, Painted it in, wiped it clean when it was dry. Just got back down from the attic with next project ,1/48 Revell F-18F (The one with the red spine,wing tips and tails). Now i'm off to the Offy for a celebratory six pack of Grolsh Mark

The build is pretty much without any drama, used hardly any filla, few bits had to got from else where, Winder rails (from F-18 ) , so other than that, it's ace. Mark Thanx Jim and Smiffy. Mark
