  1. To continue the theme... here is a moustachioed, three-eyed, hairy, groper: Not for Goblin aid but Pulp sci-fi.
  2. Very nicely done The subtle weathering is superb. If you painted the digital camo by hand you have done an amazing job. I'm impressed at all of the sharp corners. I know that there are mask kits available for digi-cam that would make life a lot easier. Excellent build and it is a real shame that the kit misbehaved for you.
  3. I am really impressed at how effective this looks. It almost has a retro look about it that would suit the original series... very nicely done I think it would look even better wit a bit of ink washing to bring out some of the details more.
  4. Part of Goblin Aid is to get it cast up so there should be painted ones in a couple of months
  5. I have sculpted a Goblin for Goblin Aid. To find out more, here is a Face-Book link: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Goblinaid/582169528462833 Here is what I came up with: You can find out more about the sculpt here: http://insosworld.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/a-green-sunday.html Have a great Easter
  6. Here are the two converted traders:
  7. Cheers I have converted a couple of traders now so once they are primed I'll get painting them too. I may end up adding an APC to the group as well.
  8. I thought I'd paint up some infantry support too. I have been told the green doesn't suit so the next one will have a desert sand colour instead (I plan on ten soldiers and a couple of traders):
  9. Someone mentioned that my Urban camouflage looked a bit like an artist's work so I looked him up and thought... that would make a great dazzle pattern...
  10. I'm not a fan of the Danish colours... the yellow areas just look like primer to me.
  11. ...and the answer is 2 quad bikes, 2 trailers and the 8 troops/crew. A nice man from Airfix told me
  12. It doesn't say how many Quad bikes/trailers you get in the kit (it mentions 8 figures but doesn't specify what)... does anyone happen to have any 'insider' information on the subject? Hopefully it will be four Quads with trailers...
  13. To answer some questions: I don't game so don't have a rule-set in mind. The army was just put together in a fluid way and has ended up where it is now following no particular design... I just added what I liked. The miniatures (troops) are for 28mm but they are space Dwarfs (22mm tall) called 'Grymn' from here: http://www.hfminis.co.uk/shop?category=miniatures I have converted all of the troops to have heads from here: http://www.pig-iron-productions.com/ Since my last post, I have had to replace my computer and I have had to re-find all of my favourites (hence the delay in replying) but on a plus point, I have finished the special unit I was working on: I have also finished the first of three 'Clanker' units (the Grymn in the top pic is to show the size of the walkers): And have made good progress on the second unit: If anyone is really keen to know where everything came from, I'll post a list... but it may take a while to put together
  14. Thank you The greys were originally from here: http://www.tengumodels.co.uk/ ... and since I bought them, there have been a couple added to the store. The walkers were snapped up on E-bay and are the old style Eldar Dreadnoughts/Wraithlords from Games Workshop. The hover platforms are the old Eldar gun-platforms.
