  1. “It was also the first Allied plane to fly over Tokyo during the war.” The Doolittle raid was April 18, 1942. When did the Firefly fly over Tokyo?
  2. I used EZ line for years for rigging but the downside is many of my older builds (35+ years) the EZ line has broken down. So I’m going back to fishing line.
  3. Clearprop makes an I-16 type 5 that was flown during the SCW. They plan to release the kit with SCW decals in the Spring
  4. Beautiful build; the masking on the colors is amazing.
  5. Haven't posted for a while; here's a Flashback Berg I built a few years ago.
  6. Kudos to the manufacturer for replacing the canopy! Nice work overall
  7. I recall buying this kit when it came out and was amazed how small it was compared to the other Revell kits (P-47 comes to mind). Brian Knights paintings sold a lot of 50 cent kits to that 11 or 12 year old in the early 1960’s. The old Profile series were ‘the Bible’. Great modeling.
  8. Wonderful built! Canopy masking is perfect as well as your weathering
  9. Thanks for the suggestions; I’ll see if I can find a suitable ball and make one.
